Introducing our professional dog trainer and behaviour counsellor...Hi, I'm Sue Walsh. I'm originally from Ireland but I now live in Motueka with my Kiwi husband Chris. I've been involved in dog and puppy handling, training and behaviour counselling for a number of years in the UK, USA and New Zealand.

I completed an internship in dog training and behaviour at the San Francisco SPCA which is well known to be at the cutting edge of animal training and behavioural science. I will also complete a Diploma in Canine Studies from Oxford College (UK) this year. I am a certified graduate of the DogTEC Dog Walking Academy and PetTech certified in Pet First Aid & CPR. I'm also a qualified lawyer with a keen interest in animal welfare law.

As well as helping owners with their dogs I also love working with homeless dogs, to rehabilitate and re-home them. I am secretary of the Motueka SPCA and a trainer and co-ordinator for the Motueka SPCA dog foster program. I am a regular volunteer with the dogs at the Nelson SPCA and I also work as a dog trainer for the Nelson Ark.

• For dogs over 20 weeks of age. Ideal as a follow-on class from puppy school (but suitable for all ages).

• Teach your dog important skills such as how to focus on you, sit, lay down, stay, come when called, walk nicely on the lead and much more!

• Includes fun, stimulating games for owners and dogs.

• For dogs over 20 weeks of age that have graduated from Silver Level or equivalent.

• Progress your dog’s training skills to an advanced level to build rapid, reliable responses.

• Includes working dogs from a distance and with a high level of distraction.

Introducing our professional dog trainer and behaviour counsellor...Hi, I'm Sue Walsh. I'm originally from Ireland but I now live in Motueka with my Kiwi husband Chris. I've been involved in dog and puppy handling, training and behaviour counselling for a number of years in the UK, USA and New Zealand.

I completed an internship in dog training and behaviour at the San Francisco SPCA which is well known to be at the cutting edge of animal training and behavioural science. I will also complete a Diploma in Canine Studies from Oxford College (UK) this year. I am a certified graduate of the DogTEC Dog Walking Academy and PetTech certified in Pet First Aid & CPR. I'm also a qualified lawyer with a keen interest in animal welfare law.

As well as helping owners with their dogs I also love working with homeless dogs, to rehabilitate and re-home them. I am secretary of the Motueka SPCA and a trainer and co-ordinator for the Motueka SPCA dog foster program. I am a regular volunteer with the dogs at the Nelson SPCA and I also work as a dog trainer for the Nelson Ark.

• For dogs over 20 weeks of age. Ideal as a follow-on class from puppy school (but suitable for all ages).
