Sophie’s recent single‘Goodbye’ was releasedin early October – swiflyollowed by the album ‘17’coming out this month. Te
single entered the charts atNo.1 and has remained thereor the past five weeks. ‘17’charts Sophie’s journey romteen idol to young womanand her path through traumato ame and ortune.When interviewing Sophieshe later described herexperience with us as an‘Emotional release’.
Sophie young and beautiullost her mother in early2013, being only 17 theloss seriously impacted herability to move orward withher career. ‘I was seriouslywrecked, although my mothersuffered a terminal illnessand I was ully aware that shewas unable to be cured, i wasstill heartbroken watchingher deteriorate into someonewho couldn’t recognise meanymore.
