We ♥ Pop Front Cover

From the front cover of the magazine, the magazine looks to be one targeted towards a young-teen audience. The colours of the magazine are very bright and vibrant, attracting a certain audience towards the magazine. The main image of the magazine features a very popular artist of that time which attracts some readers to the content of the magazine and the kind of things it may feature. Many sell features and lines are present on the front page of the magazine. It advertises new, never before seen pictures and information which some readers may be interested in and also the main image covers most of the cover, making it eye catching. Also the cover line connects to the image and is highlighted by the use of strong, bright colours. The mode of address for this magazine is rather innocent and pretty, reflecting on its audience and the things it may feature.

Contents Page On the contents page of this magazine, media

sources such as pictures and graphics to enhance the productivity and overall look of the magazine. Main stories have been highlighted by the use of pictures. The pictures help identify what a main story is about before you turn to the page and read it, intriguing readers and the audience. The pictures have been accompanied with the page numbers. The page numbers have been designed so that they fit in with the theme of the magazine and also so that the audience can clearly see them. The normal content of the magazine is placed at the bottom of the page so that the magazine still has a directory of what features in the magazine. The colours match those on the front of the magazine and also make the contents page seem lively and crammed.

Double Page Spread The double page spread shows how the

main article is made an important feature to the magazine as it covers 2 pages. The information on the page is made clear and selective by the fact that some of it is highlighted yellow. This shows how the magazine wants the audience to pay more attention to key parts of the interview and it draws their eye towards important aspects of the article. The headline for the interview in this case is a quote, this quote is very controversial an it makes us as the audience want to read on and it makes us question why. The image on the right relates to the article as it shows us who and what the article is written about and it makes us link certain parts of the article to the person, like her appearance and personality.
