Inefficient fiber management of ODN results in higher FTTH OPEX.

An eID based fiber management approach is under discussion; proposal accepted in ITU-T SG15 Q17/15

In addition to fiber management, iODN can also be leveraged for intelligent line acceptance certification system and OLS.
