 The suspension tuning of the WRX STI is directly based on the suspension of the WRX STI spec. C, a competition spec WRX STI sold exclusively in the Japanese domestic market.

 Despite similar sheet metal, the WRX STI has additional structural reinforcements throughout the body compared to the WRX for even better handling.

 Dark metallic trim on the instrument panel gives the interior a richer yet more aggressive look.

 All WRX STI models are equipped with a short throw close-ratio 6-speed manual transmission for a more dynamic and rewarding driving experience.

 Due to improved aerodynamics, courtesy of the large rear spoiler, the WRX STI 4-door has a higher top speed than the WRX STI 5-door (255 km/h vs. 250 km/h).

 All WRX STI models are equipped with new 18-inch Enkei cast aluminum alloy wheels that weigh 2 kg less than the previous standard wheel. This contributes to better handling and steering feel.

 With the multi-mode Driver Controlled Centre Differential AWD system, multi-mode VDC and SI-DRIVE, the WRX STI’s driving characteristics can be adjusted based on changing conditions – rain, snow or shine.

 Leather and Alcantara® seats hold occupants firmly in place when taking corners with enthusiasm.

 An all-new audio system on the WRX STI and the Pioneer® AVIC-X9310BT Media System on the WRX STI Sport-tech Package offer excellent sound quality and Bluetooth® technology – ideal for those living in provinces where hand-held phones and MP3s have been outlawed.

 The WRX STI Sport-tech Package is equipped with powerful Pioneer® TS-A1684R front speakers that produce clear, open sound (not shown).

 The squared-off lower air intake and front bumper have been designed to make the WRX STI look wide and low.

 Fog lights are standard on the WRX STI Sport-tech Package for excellent nighttime illumination and an aggressive appearance.
