Tips to prepare for a interview• Research the Company• It is always a plus to know more about the company you are

interviewing with. This way if the employer asks what do you know about our company – you can showcase that you are aware of the brand and its services/products. • Plan your Arrival• If you are unsure of the companies location, take a test

drive or trip to the location. This will allow you to get to know the area so that you can be sure you will arrive on time. • Practice• Practice for your interview with a friend. Have them quiz

you on questions that the interviewer may ask. Always remember that interviews are a two way street. They will ask you questions and you are free to ask questions as well. Do NOT ask questions already provided by the employers ad and/or company website.

Tips to prepare for a interview• Be prepared for questions that the employer

will ask . Examples of the kinds of questions to expect are:

• What type of work interests you?• What personal qualities do you possess that distinguish you from

other applicants?• What do you feel a company should offer you ?• What was your most challenging position?• Why was it challenging?• How would you describe your skill set?• Where do you see yourself 5 years from now?• What do you consider your strengths?• What do you consider to be your weaknesses?• How did you handle a last minute change in a project?• How do you determine success?• Tell me about how you dealt with a difficult co-worker? Superior?• How did you handle a company policy that you felt was unfair to

its employees?

Tips to prepare for a interview• Have your questions plan ahead of time. Examples of good

questions to ask are: • What have been the department’s successes in the past 3-5 years?• What do you see ahead for the company in the next five years?• What do you see in the future for this industry?• Why did you choose to work for this company?• Can you tell me about the person to whom I would report?• What is a average day at your company?• How would you describe the culture here ?

• Plan your outfit ahead. • Be sure your outfit is appropriate and follows the dress code provided to you

by the interviewer. Do NOT wait until the last minute to have your clothes prepared. You want to make sure you look appropriately. Be sure to keep the outfit simple. No loud colors or bright patterns. This is simply not professional. Also if you’re a avid jewelry wearer. Keep the bling to a minimum.

• To save on time - Lay your clothes

shirts are cleaned, skirts and slacks

are pressed and everything has

been lint rolled.

• Make sure your vehicle is gassed

and you have money for unexpected

expenses.

It’s Show Time!!!

• Wake up 30 minutes earlier than you originally anticipated. This will give you a 30 minute buffer. In example if your interview is at 10 AM and you want to be there by 9:45 AM – The ride to the interview is 30 minutes, this means you should leave your home no later than 9:15 AM. If it takes you a hour to get ready, obviously you would get up at 8:15 AM, Right? WRONG! If you wake up at 7:45 AM this gives you a extra 30 minutes incase something goes wrong!
