Secured Profit* of Five Year* Over Haifa Million of Dollars! THE following statement mav serve to explain the peculiar advantages of this system of Mutual Insurance. While the premiums charged, conditions of insur- ance, and general mode of transacting business, are precisely similar to those of the most approved Stock Companies, the net profits of this Company, instead of being puid to Stockholders, are divided annually among those who pay the premiums in proportion to ho much of the amount paid by each as shall be earn- ed, on the 18th of December of each year; and scrip certificates are issued for the same, bearing such in- terest as arises from the investment of the net profits in Bonds and Mortgages, and Public Stocks. It is to be presumed, that the premiums of each year will not only pay all the losses and expenses of that year, but will enable the company to divide a surplus among llie intuited, thereby also increasing the security of the insured (which now consists of the accumulated profits of five years, over hale a million of dollars.) But should the contrary occur, and should (he losses and expenses of any year exceed the earned premiums—the excess of loss will be assessed on all the scrip previous!) issued. The charter expressly provides that the insured caunol in any cuee incur a loss beyond the amount of his premiums. Applications will be received at the office of the Agency, corner ofSt. Francis and Royal-sts,up stairs declO ROBERT S. BUNKER, Agent. FOR THE REMOVAL ANI> PERM AN ENT CURE Ol AM. DISEASES A It ISlN(t FROM AN 1*1 PURI PTATE OF THE BLOOD, OK IIaRIT OF THI SYSTEM. IF we read the history of disorders we are as'on Wished that men live; if of cure*, we ore still mon astonished that they die. And yet in fact nearly ul disense* have ;t common origin' via:—in the orgum which prepare and modify the blood, with a remedy directed to the sent of disease, will remove a host o it** phenomena* It is the peculiar characteristic 01 Sands* Sarsaparilla, that its searching operation reaches the causes of disease, and the cures it per forms are therefore radical and thorough. The health •»f the human system depends almost entirely u on the state of the blood. If the vitalising fluid which pervades every tissue, every membrane, fibre, fila- ment, gland, or other organ primary or subsidiary; d the body be charged with the elements of disease, sickness must lie the consequence, and until the causes of disease existing in the blood, aie eradica- ted, no |>eniianenl relief can be expected. It is lice •hat the powerful health-restoring properties of Sands* Sarsaparilla are manifested; and for this reason, in scrofula, Salt Hhemn, and all eruptive diseases, as well u* in all derangements of the se- creting organs, it is considered infallible. 'I'lie following interesting case is presented, and the reader invited to its careful perusal. Comment on such evidence is unnecessary. New-York, July 25,1844. Messrs, sands:—(ieiil*— I con ider it but an act of justice to you In state the following facts in reference lo the (freui betwfhj ,tyy.y,, mrnirrfrernff. muulh. try regular an,I kilful physician, assisted by the advice and counsel ofene of our most able and experienced surgeons, without the least benefit whatever- All the various methods of treating cancer were resorted to; for five weeks in succession my breast was burned with caus- tic three tunes a day, and for six it was daily syr- inged with a weak solution of nitric acid, and the cavity or internal nice; was so large that it held over an ounce of the solution. The Doctor prjlied the ulcer and examined the bone, mid said the disease was advancing rapidly to the lungs, and if I did not gel S|»eedy relief by medicine nr an operation, (lie re- sult would be fatal. I was advised to hav« the breast laid open and the bones examined, but fi'ding no relief from what had been done, and feeling I was rapdly getting wor^e, I almost despaired of recove- ry, considered my case nearly hopeless. Seeing various testimonials and certificates of cure by the use of “Sands' Sarsaparilla," in cases similar to my own, 1 concluded to try a lew bottles, several of which were used, but from the lung dftpp sealed character of mv disease, produced no very de- cided change; considering this as the oidy probable cure for uiy case, I persevered, until the disease was entirely cured. It is now ovei eleven months since the cure was completed; there is not the slightest appearance of a return. I, therefore, pronounce my. self WELL, and the cure entirely effected by “Samis’ Sarsaparilla," us I took no other medicine of any kind during the time 1 was using it, nor have I ta- ken any since. Please excuse this long defeired ac- knowledgement. which I think it my duty to make- Your valuable Saisaparilla cured me, with the bless-, iug of Divine Providence, when nothing else could, and I feel myself under lasting obligations to you. I can say many things I cannot write, and I do most respectfully invite ladies alllicted as I have been to call upon me and I will patisly them folly of the truth as stated above, ami many other things in reference to ihe case. NO. 44 W ALL-8TR EFT. N KW-YoKK. Secured Profit* of Five Year*

Over Haifa Million of Dollars!

THE following statement mav serve to explain the peculiar advantages of this system of Mutual

Insurance. While the premiums charged, conditions of insur-

ance, and general mode of transacting business, are

precisely similar to those of the most approved Stock Companies, the net profits of this Company, instead of being puid to Stockholders, are divided annually among those who pay the premiums in proportion to

ho much of the amount paid by each as shall be earn-

ed, on the 18th of December of each year; and scrip certificates are issued for the same, bearing such in- terest as arises from the investment of the net profits in Bonds and Mortgages, and Public Stocks.

It is to be presumed, that the premiums of each

year will not only pay all the losses and expenses of that year, but will enable the company to divide a

surplus among llie intuited, thereby also increasing the security of the insured (which now consists of the accumulated profits of five years, over hale a

million of dollars.) But should the contrary occur, and should (he losses and expenses of any year exceed the earned premiums—the excess of loss will be assessed on all the scrip previous!) issued.

The charter expressly provides that the insured caunol in any cuee incur a loss beyond the amount of his premiums.

Applications will be received at the office of the

Agency, corner ofSt. Francis and Royal-sts,up stairs declO ROBERT S. BUNKER, Agent.

HANDS’ NARHAPARILLA. FOR THE REMOVAL ANI> PERM AN ENT CURE Ol

AM.

And yet in fact nearly ul disense* have ;t common origin' via:—in the orgum which prepare and modify the blood, with a remedy directed to the sent of disease, will remove a host o

it** phenomena* It is the peculiar characteristic 01 Sands* Sarsaparilla, that its searching operation reaches the causes of disease, and the cures it per forms are therefore radical and thorough.

Messrs, sands:—(ieiil*— I con ider it but an

act of justice to you In state the following facts in reference lo the (freui betwfhj ,tyy.y,, mrnirrfrernff.

muulh. try regular an,I kilful physician, assisted by the advice and counsel

ofene of our most able and experienced surgeons, without the least benefit whatever- All the various methods of treating cancer were resorted to; for five weeks in succession my breast was burned with caus- tic three tunes a day, and for six it was daily syr- inged with a weak solution of nitric acid, and the cavity or internal nice; was so large that it held over an ounce of the solution. The Doctor prjlied the ulcer and examined the bone, mid said the disease was advancing rapidly to the lungs, and if I did not

gel S|»eedy relief by medicine nr an operation, (lie re- sult would be fatal. I was advised to hav« the breast laid open and the bones examined, but fi'ding no relief from what had been done, and feeling I was

rapdly getting wor^e, I almost despaired of recove-

ry, considered my case nearly hopeless. Seeing various testimonials and certificates of

cure by the use of “Sands' Sarsaparilla," in cases similar to my own, 1 concluded to try a lew bottles, several of which were used, but from the lung dftpp sealed character of mv disease, produced no very de- cided change; considering this as the oidy probable cure for uiy case, I persevered, until the disease was

entirely cured. Please excuse this long defeired ac-

knowledgement. which I think it my duty to make- Your valuable Saisaparilla cured me, with the bless-, iug of Divine Providence, when nothing else could, and I feel myself under lasting obligations to you. I can say many things I cannot write, and I do most

respectfully invite ladies alllicted as I have been to call upon me and I will patisly them folly of the truth as stated above, ami many other things in reference to ihe case. NANCY J- MILLER, 218 Sullivan si
