• When riding a motorcycle, looking where you are going sounds obvious, though in actuality you should be looking where you want to go. This means your head should be up and your eyes should be looking well ahead in the direction of travel to.

• The same principal applies to slow speed motorcycle operation. For example, in a parking lot or other slow moving situation like a U-turn, it is crucial that your head and eyes are pointed toward the direction you want the motorcycle to go. If you are looking directly where your motorcycle is at the moment, the ability to makeover it to make a turn can become difficult. This will result in misjudged cornering. You have to look as far through the turn as your head will turn.
