    WOMENS CONFERENCE

This conference went on from Monday, January 23, 2012 to Tuesday, January 24, 2012

AT St. Andrews Church Hall Bukoto Kampala.

It was attended by different women from numerous parishes in the diocese of Kampala

plus other women from outside the diocese. The facilitators included:

1.Pastor Lee Grady, The Mordecai Project, USA2.Pastor Marc Longoria, My Fathers House Church, USA3.Hon. Miria Matembe, former Minister of Ethics and Integrity, Republic of Uganda.

The two-day conference was basically geared towards empowering the women to take

up their position in spiritual warfare and rediscover their true identity in God so that

they can be better positioned to have an impact in the kingdom of God.

    This conference was very successful:

The talks by Lee Grady and MarcLongoria (main facilitators) were simply

    presented, passionately inspiring,

    culturally relevant, and plainly biblical.

The participants were empowered withbiblical insights concerning the strength

of a woman and the potential that God

has endowed her with in effectively

transacting kingdom business. At numerous points during the

    conference, the participants were given

tasks to tackle in groups. Thereafter, the group leaders would present the results

    of their discussions before others.

There was enough time devoted toprayer where by women were prayed

for as a group but more so, at

    individual level.

They were taught to be dangerouswomen in the sense of standingstrong in the Lord to be a real threat

    to the devil, while transacting

    kingdom business.

By the end of the conference, thewomen had resolved to break free from those old traditions religious and

cultural that have for a long time put them in slavery of a kind.

    BOLD VENTURE MENS CONFERENCE

This conference went on from Wednesday, January 25, 2012 to Saturday, January 28,

2012 at Rest Gardens Bweyogerere Kampala.

It was attended by 37 handpicked men

from Kampala and other areas, brought

together to be encouraged and groomed

to be the kind of men that God originally

planned them to be. They were also

encouraged to make disciples to mentor

    others.

    The facilitators included:

1.Pastor Lee Grady, The Mordecai Project, USA2.Pastor Marc Longoria, My Fathers

    House Church, USA

3.Hon. James Nsaba Buturo, formerMinister of Ethics and Integrity,

    Republic of Uganda.

4.Ev. Sam Ewau, Kampala Diocese, wholed the morning devotions.

    The conference was basically geared

towards challenging the men to take uptheir position in the church, families, nation, and in spiritual battle. They were

challenged to live bold and courageous, to exercise God-given authority over their

wives with godliness and understanding, to give attention and love to their families,

but also to stand out and confront the evils that mar society. This conference was very

    successful.

    Lee Grady and Marc Longoria

    (main facilitators) spoke to the

men in a very sincere mannerthat depicted two souls that

    were passionately pouring out

    their honest hearts for the

    growth and empowerment of 37

    other hungry souls.

The men were both challenged and empowered to get in the game and be participants

rather than being passive onlookers, merely watching whatever goes on around them.

At numerous points during the conference, the men were put in groups from where

they discussed numerous issues that affect them, shared their personal lives, and

prayed for one another in the small group setting. The group leaders were always

given time to present the results of their discussions before others.

On Friday night, there was time specifically devoted to prayer and the prophetic

ministry as Lee Grady prayed for the men and prophesied upon their lives individually

and also as a group. The men also stretched their hands and prayed for Lee, that God

may continue to anoint him and use him for the expansion of the kingdom of God.

After breakfast on Saturday, men departed to go and make a positive difference in

    their societies.

    Kamwokya Kampala.

It was attended by a number of couples who were encouraged to live a life of

understanding, love, godliness, and biblical Christianity in their families. Lee Grady was

the main facilitator for this half day conference. Below were some of the couples that

    attended this conference.

They were also put into different groups to discuss the challenges that the marriages in

Uganda are facing and what needs to be changed. After the discussions, group leaders(shown below) presented the outcomes of their discussions.

    Sunday, January 29, 2012.

This day was full of activities.

First, Lee spoke in St. Francis Chapel inside Makerere University Kampala. He spoke in

two morning services, largely advocating for godly treatment of women. Below are

some of the pictures of Lee speaking:

After his talk, he challenged the congregation to be bold and stand up and speak out

against the ills in the society things that go against the precepts of our God. Many

stood up to be prayed for, raising their hands in the air as a sign of surrender, so that

God may use them courageously to tackle with bravery the things that break His own

    heart.

Being a day when Rev. Medad Birungi was giving thanks for the healing of her sonOmega and achievement of his PhD, we went to St. Kakumba Chapel in Kyambogo

University at 11:30am where many people had gathered for the thanksgiving service.

At his home in Namugongo Kampala, it was dancing, speeches, eating, and thanking

God. Pictures below can show the mood!

    Thanks!

Id like to extend heartfelt gratitude to: God for making all the above possible. He deserves praise and worship indeed.. Lee Grady and the whole team at The Mordecai Project, for the great support

financial, training resource, and spiritual in organizing these events. Your labor in the

    Lord is not in vain.

The WSM Team that spearheaded the preparations and implementation, overlooking any challenges along the way to see that Gods people are empowered

    and released for kingdom fruitfulness.

The men, women, and youths who participated in the above conferences and wereeager to learn new things and be reminded of old ones that still mean a lot to ourgrowth, development, and actualization.

May the name of the Lord be praised!
