Mega-9 Optoelctronic Co Ltd, founded in 2006, is a leading technology manufacturer in

bandpass filters and beam splitter cubes in China. Mega-9 has excellent fabricating facilities,

including advanced coaters, ultrasonic cleaning line, high accuracy spectrophotometers,and

Mega-9 focuses on fabricating high end precision optical components, including narrow

bandpass filters, polarising beam splitter cubes, non-polarising beam splitter cubes, solar

simulation filters, high temperature filters and other edge filters. For bandpass filters,the center

wavelength can be achieved from 250nm to 1100nm, and the bandwidth varies from 10nm to

50nm according to customers' requirement. And the blocking level of OD6 in rejection band

can be achieved and measured. For beam splitter cubes, the available wavelength range is from

400nm to 1600nm. The application fields concern about machine vision,security monitoring,

face recognition, liscence plate recognition, photorejuvenation, large screen multi-touch panel,

biochemical analysis, distance measurement,PCR fluorescence, enzyme label, astronaumy

observation, laser interferometer,and other optical instruments. Most products are exported to

USA, Germany, UK, Israel, South Africa, Japan and France.

Main Products Introduction 1. Machine vision filters Features The filters are designed to pass specific wavelengths and blocking other unwanted irradiation. The purpose is to get a high quality image by extracting signals and blocking the unwanted noise for further recognition. The machine vision filters Mega-9 made are very thin and suitable for installing between the CCD/CMOS sensor and lens, this installation has many advantages such as good blocking, low cost, and high imaging quality etc..

2. Optical filters with high blocking depth Features The filters with high blocking depth is generally used in biochemical analysis, such as fluorescence microscopy or enzyme label. The blocking depth often needs more than 5 OD(optical density). This type of filter is composed of several sheets which are cemented together by optical glue. The blocking range of 200-1200nm is regular, which is suitable for CCD or CMOS response.

3. High temperature optical filters Features In general, the optical filters is able to work in the environment below 100℃, however high temperature optical filters can work well under 400℃~600℃ surrounding by special fabricating technology. In some situation like high power illumination, to get rid of infrared radiation with a cold mirror, the mirror has to stand high temperature.

4. Solar simulation filter Features The solar simulation filter adjust the spectrum distribution by controlling different transmission at different wavelengths. The Xe lamp combined with a solar simulation filter can be an AM1.5 standard solar simulator according to ASTM E927 STANDARD, used as a testing light source for solar cells performance examination or a illumination source for biological purpose.

5. Polarizing beam splitter cubes Features A polarizing beamsplitter(PBS) cube consists of a pair of right angle prisms cemented together. The hypotenuse face of one prism is

coated with multilayer dielectric coating for polarization splitting. When an unpolarized light is normally incident upon the entrance face, it

is separated into two polarized beams, emerging through two adjacent faces in perpendicular directions and polarized orthogonally to

each other. The transmitted beam is called p-polarized while the reflected beam is called s-polarized.

PBS cubes Mega-9 offered have good extinction ratio of Tp:Ts(>1000:1).

The size available for the PBS cubes are 5X5X5, 10X10X10, 12.7X12.7X12.7, 20X20X20 and 25.4X25.4X25.4.

The wavelength available are 420-680nm, 620-1000nm, 900-1300nm, and 1200-1600nm and other wavelengths upon request.

Transmission for P polarization:>90%.

Reflection for S polarization: >99.5%.

AR coating: R<0.5% over the specific wavelength range.

Surface flatness: Lambda/10 at 633nm.

Surface quality: 40/20.

Features Non-Polarizing Beamsplitter Cube (NPBS Cube) consists of a pair of precision right angle prisms cemented

together with a metallic-dielectric coating on the hypotenuse of one prism. The beam splitter is insensitive to

the polarizing state of incidence. The splitting ratio between S- and P-polarization can be controlled within

5%. This means that they will not change the state of polarization of the incident beam.

The size available for the NPBS cubes are 5X5X5, 10X10X10, 12.7X12.7X12.7, 20X20X20 and

25.4X25.4X25.4.

The wavelength available are 400-700nm, 700-1100nm, 1100-1600nm, and other wavelengths upon

request.

T/R ratio available: 1/9, 2/8, 3/7, 4/6,5/5, 6/4, 7/3, 8/2 etc.

AR coating: R<0.5% over the specific wavelength range.

Surface flatness: Lambda/10 at 633nm.
