Turkey on 22 October 2014

Using: bicycle, train, bus, airplane from Bolonia to Istanbul, underground, a Bus and

a ferry boat to Balikesir, and finally a Taxi

19 hours from door to door!

Turkey has a successful model of collective transports that limits the

number of cars in circulation. Buses are cheap and comfortable and stop at modern bus stations.
