MediaMosa Contest: Participation

• Open for national and international profit and non-profit organisations and individual developers as well

• Organisations may submit multiple proposals.

MediaMosa Contest: Submission

• Deadline Tuesday November 1st 2011

• Submission of:– A description of the MediaMosa application in English, what

are the functionalities, what is new, how can the application be used, an example of its use

– The software code in GPLv2– Documentation in English

MediaMosa Contest: The judging procedure

Two stages:

1. Judging committee compiles a short list of three MediaMosa Applications.

2. The three chosen MediaMosa Applications are open for voting on the MediaMosa website.

On November 15th 2011 the three MediaMosa applications open for voting will be announced on www.mediamosa.org.

• December 8th, 2011 the winner of the MediaMosa Contest will be announced.

MediaMosa Stimuleringsregeling

• SURFnet/Kennisnet Innovatieprogramma wil instellingen stimuleren om zelf aan de slag te gaan met MediaMosa.

• Toepassingen van MediaMosa bij bijvoorbeeld,– weblectures– live streaming– interactieve video– video op mobiele devices– koppelingen met elektronische leeromgevingen, video

opname & beheer systemen– Etc.

MediaMosa Stimuleringsregeling: Doelgroep

• PO,VO, MBO • Instellingen die zijn aangesloten bij SURFnet, bestaande uit

universiteiten, hogescholen, academische ziekenhuizen, STZ- ziekenhuizen, onderzoeksinstituten en daarmee vergelijkbare instellingen, researchafdelingen van bedrijven, bibliotheken en overige door het Ministerie van OCW gefinancierde instellingen.

• Project kan een samenwerkingsverband zijn met andere private (bijvoorbeeld MediaMosa ontwikkelpartijen) of publieke instellingen.

MediaMosa Stimuleringsregeling: Budget

• Totaal €70.000.

• Per project is de maximale stimuleringsbijdrage €10.000.
