Meet the Webmaster
Hey Division 44 Key Clubbers, As it probably says somewhere near this letter, I'm next year's divisional webmaster! I look forward to a great year of service and hope I can live up to last year's webmaster, Briana, who did an amazing job. I'm a sophomore at Mountain View High School and take part in many clubs and activities along with Key Club. After seeing how amazing of an organization KC is at DCON this year I knew I wanted to have a larger part in it. In my free time I play tennis, program, do science, and socialize. The rest of my free time supposedly goes into studying. Next year I'll make sure to devote time to managing the facebook page, updating the website, and just generally mastering the web. Thanks for your time and here's to a good year,
Anav Gagneja.

Project Eliminate
One baby dies every 9 minutes from neonatal tetanus
160 babies die each day from neonatal
38 countries remain at high risk for MNT
Kiwanis will help save or protect more than 61 million mothers and their future babies
On average, health education and a series of three doses of tetanus vaccine cost $1.80
Key Club International and the Pacific Northwest Key Club are proud to announce the Eliminate Project as the Intertaional and District Project for the year 2013- 2014. Our Goal is to raise $16,000 dollars to eliminate MNT worldwide.
Bikin’ to the Beach
The 13th annual Bikin’ to the Beach is coming up! A lot of preparation has already gone into planning the event. This year, Union High School will be hosting the event, which will be leaving from Marshall Center to Fisherman’s Bar through Downtown Vancouver. This will be an amazing ride, and with support from Kiwanis International, Key Club International, and the Kiwanis Doernbecher Children’s Cancer Program (KDCCP) Board, it will be the best yet! In the past, clubs from just Divisions 44 and 45 have been able to raise over $800. This year, we want to raise over twice as much! Our goal is 375% of what we raised last year! The project supports KDCCP!
Why Ride? Here’s your opportunity to help save kids’ lives by raising money for the Kiwanis Doernbecher Children’s Cancer Program. Doernbecher Children’s Hospital has given hope and loving care to critically ill children with cancer in Oregon and SW Washington for the past seven decades regardless of their family’s income. However, at Doernbecher, health care providers don’t only treat sick kids. Doernbecher is an innovative research center where promising pediatricians are trained to become the next generation of Pediatric Oncology specialists. By taking part in the Bikin’ to the Beach Bike Ride, you will help Doernbecher research the causes of children’s cancers.
Goal $3,000
