unique and new

“One of Kenmore’s best kept secrets is the highly regarded Misty’s cafe located opposite the park in Kingussie Street.

A must stop for a quick coffee or a more relaxing treat!

If you’re like me, always on the lookout for great local places to eat and drink, then make sure you take a trip down to Misty’s opposite the park in Kingussie Street Kenmore.

Recently taken over by local Barrister Brayden Segal, with his own unique blend of Delano coffee, the amazing coffee on offer is complimented by fresh locally made food and a relaxed family environment

make this trendy café, one of the most talked about café’s in the area.

Thriving and exciting local businesses Like Misty’s are important to making Kenmore the place to live and I know that you’ll love stopping by.

With a local park only meters away, if you’re a parent wanting to chill out for a few hours while the kids play or you’re just

wanting a quick catch up for business or pleasure there is no other café in Kenmore which offers space, brilliant service and privacy to match.

Make sure you drop in and say G’day to Brayden and Master Chef Jordan.

Oh, and don’t forget to tell them Matt and Josh sent you.

Enjoy!

Welcome to the latest report for the residential property market place in Kenmore. During the last quarter, from April 1st through to June 30th 2015, the local property market continued to see strong activity with modest capital gains. Brisbane wide saw a per quarter improvement of 1.4% and 4.5% for the full twelve months to June. Low interest rates continue to fuel enthusiasm and buyer demand within the investor and occupier markets. With some of the heat coming off the markets in Sydney and Melbourne, Brisbane is being tipped by a number of property experts to be the market to ‘get into’ during 2015. To understand what this might mean for you, please feel free to contact Josh or myself at any time to discuss further. Have you noticed a change in demographics in the gym over the past couple of years? A.Yes in the last few years we

have increased our 16-35 year old age group.

What’s your favourite restaurant in Brisbane?A.Sol foods, anything clean

and healthy.

We recently interviewed local businesswoman Jess from Jetts Kenmore...

What’s the best thing that has happened to Kenmore in the past 10 years? A.We have been open for

just over 5 years now. OUR TEAM! We have a team that is awesome, That cares for everyone’s needs and goals. It’s our second Home.

What made you come to Australia?A.Lifestyle. I left the army in NZ

and moved over here with my partner at the time. Job opportunities were better and never having to live in the NZ winters is always nice.

What do you do to unwind?A.Exercise. I live and breathe

the fitness industry. I’ve just gotten into cross fit and I love the challenge.

What’s your favourite sporting club in Australia and Overseas?A.All Blacks of course. CAN

ONLY BACK THE WINING TEAM!

What motivates you to keep fit?A.I Love the challenge. Also the

body is an amazing machine. Always surprises me with what you can chuck at it and how it still managers to function.

If you had one bit of advice for someone that keeps putting joining the gym on hold, what would it be?A.We only get one shot at life…

Why not make it enjoyable and be healthy and fit. You don’t want to look back and say what if.

MATT O’NEILL - YOUR KENMORE SPECIALIST...page 6.

My husband and I would like to express our sincere thanks to the team at Place and especially to Matt O’Neill and Josh Procopis for ensuring that the sale of our home was a pleasurable experience.

From the initial visit when we invited Matt to give us an appraisal through

the selling process to settlement we found Matt knowledgeable, honest, organised and professional at all times. The advertising package presenting our property was excellent and the number of prospective buyers brought through the door demonstrated the scope and range of the marketing capabilities of the

team at Place. Matt kept us informed as the discussions with the interested buyers progressed and we were delighted with the speed of the sale and the sale price achieved.

Matt was a pleasure to work with and we will definitely be calling on him for the sale of our next property.

What our clients are saying - Lynne & Nigel F.
