DESCRIPTION

The master responds to the growing use of high-throughput omics techniques, both in the context of biomedical research and in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, and to the increasing de-mand for highly qualified professionals in this field.

The program covers genomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, metagenomics, interactomics and integromics and provides knowledge of the most impor-tant techniques for omic data acquisition and analysis. The students will be able to ana-lyze omics data information using appropri-ate statistical and bioinformatics tools.

The teaching methodology, in collaboration with re-search centers and companies in the field, will en-sure that a wide range of applications are covered.

*A wide range of applications will be covered mainly by external collaborators from research enters and companies: Genomics of monogenic and complex diseases (cancer) / Genetic variability of viruses (VIH) / Nutrigenomics / Neurogenomics / Pharmacogenomics / Genomics and animal breeding / Genomics and Aging / Genomics and Food science / Biodiversity / Molecular evolution analysis
