Mechanism/Norms & Procedure for democratic/good Governance

This is achieved by:

Quarterly meetings of the Governing Board

Faculty performance evaluation by students and management is done at the end of

each semester. One copy of the consolidated evaluation sheet is given to the concerned

Faculty member for information & necessary improvements and one copy is filed.

Grievance readdressal mechanism for faculty, staff and students

Grievance from the faculty, staff and students if any, is directly heard by the

Director or Principal and solved on the spot. Grievances of a serious nature are taken

up at the appropriate level. All academic grievances are solved at the level of Heads of

Departments.

Placement Facilities

The placement and training cell started functioning in this college during the academic

year (2005-2006) with the intention of providing guidance to our students for getting

good placements. Devoted faculty members from different departments are working in

the cell. Mr. Aswin P Chandran (CS) is the convenor of the cell.

Campus placement in last three years with minimum salary, maximum salary and

average salary

Our pass out students are working in reputed companies like Infosys, Satyam,

Wipro, Accenture, TCS, CTS, L&T, HCL, UST, IBS, Nest, Sun Tee, Sand Blues, Suther

Land, Slash Support, Agile, Sasken, Future Software etc. Their average salary is around

Rs 2,50,000/- per annum.

Companies such as Satyam, Infosys, Nest, UST, IBS, Hags, Xstream, Ten,

SunTech, 24/7 etc came to our college for mass recruitments.

Our students are given training in communication skill, GD and other similar

skills. We are training first year students on Communicative English, Second year

students on Personality development and third year students on Soft skills. Training is

handled by professional trainers from reputed organizations. The program is

compulsory for all students.

We are also planning to train our students on software testing and embedded

system etc. Our aim is to give trained freshers to the companies.

- Admission Test – Rank in the Entrance Examinations conducted by the DTE, Govt. of

Kerala

- Marks in the Qualifying Examination – 50% for any degree with Maths or statistics as

subsidiaries (or Maths at +2 level)

- SC/ST students need only 45% pass in the qualifying Examination

Mention the minimum level of acceptance, if any.

- The marks in the qualifying examination as prescribed by the Kerala University

Mention the cut-off levels of percentage & percentile scores of the candidates in the

admission test for the last three years.

- This is decided by the DTE, Govt. of Kerala

Display marks scored in Test etc. and in aggregate for all candidates who were admitted.

This can be accessed through the intranet facility provided by the Dimension Software

Students’ assessment of Faculty, System in place.

Students’ assessment is done at the end of each semester & given as a feed back to

all faculty members for information & necessary improvements and one copy is filed.
