CURRY—N– HURRY RESTAURANT

RESTAURANT DESIGN

With the rich culture of Nepal as inspiration, the design concept for this restaurant design was to incorporate the bold primary colors red, yellow, and blue with natural textures and darker wood tones. The space would not only be a restaurant, but a space for television watching and karaoke.

MIXED USE DESIGN

A VIBRANT UNION

The objective of this thesis is to explore the poten-tial of retrofitting in a struggling downtown Greens-boro. By turning a former furniture store into an art gallery and exhibit space shared by 5 of the 6 uni-versities in Greensboro and apartments, a new energy will be infused into the 300 block of South Elm Street. By combining Greensboro’s identity as a flouring art district a younger foot traffic can be gained by a university presence.
