Status Bar

Appears at the very top of the screen.

Shows important information about the device, including signal strength, the current network

connection, and battery charge.

We will hide this bar only when the user needs full immersion like full screen images or video

Navigation BarVery popular and useful UI element.

Usually displays the title of the current view and can contain buttons that either do things to the view

(Save), and/or navigate (Back)

The contentThe information itself.

Tab BarRecommended for apps that present different type of

information.

Appears at the very bottom of the screen.

Gives users the ability to switch among different modes in an application. Should be present on all screens

to allow the user to switch quickly between the modes/views.

Scrolling all the list the user is sure that he saw all the new stuff that interest him without browsing thru

other menus

Content Browsing Type - List Each content has more types of browsing

List views are most useful to display lists of items such as images, videos, articles, etc. which users must

easily scroll.

Each row is an item. The lists can be divided into sections separated by grey headers.

Hierarchical items let the user “drill down” and are indicated by a ‘>’ icon to the right of the item.

Tha user can tap on the hierarchical items to expand them

Browsing variations

More types of browsing: compacted, lists, filmstrip

The user can change the browsing type from customization menu or anywhere on the list he

can perform pinching (like in zooming) over the content area

Change the order of the sections

The list of the sections can be bigger and the user can scroll thru it

To change the order of the sections the user can drag a section up and down on the list

Change the number of items in each section
