Dear precious AIM Members,

I hope and pray that you have set some goals and dreams for yourselves. In my life, I have found that to have goals and dreams that come true, I first need to set goals and have dreams. Please allow me to share with you some goals and dreams from my past that now—yes, now—affect your lives, being Members of The AIM Companies. How’s that, you ask?

Well, if I had not had goals and dreams that were fulfilled, I would not have had the money necessary to become a co-owner of The AIM Companies thirty years ago. You see, I was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth. In fact, I was born into a family of five children who lived very modestly on a small farm in the rural town of Emmett, Idaho.

My father passed away when I was just eighteen years old; he was only fifty years old. Almost overnight, I became the man of the family and had to set some goals for myself and still be able to take care of my sweet, widowed mother.

My first goal and dream was to build myself and my soon-to-be new wife a nearby home. I only had a little money for building materials and no credit for a mortgage, so I would have to build and own this home using all my own labor and the skills my father had taught me. At age twenty-two, I reached my goal of owning my own home free and clear.

Then I set more goals and dreams to own my own business and not work for others. I reached those goals and dreams when I started Wright Construction and Land Developing Company. Then I set a goal and dream to own an MLM company, selling health foods to help thousands of people live a much longer, healthier life than my father lived. So now you know the answer to the question of how my goal-setting and dreaming affects you, the AIM Member. I now have co-owned the AIM Companies for thirty-plus years, and this company has helped you precious AIM Members to live longer and healthier lives.

Setting goals does work and dreams do come true. Have you set your goals and dreams? In at least one way, you have—by becoming an AIM Member and wanting to live a longer, healthier, and wealthier life. Congratulations to you! Now go forth and share your “AIM” for goals and dreams to

come true with others. Your goals and dreams can come true.

Mag-nificent!FEEL

Increase your magnesium levels with AIM’s two new topical delivery systems.

Magnesium is vital to health and wellness, affecting nearly every system of the body due to its cellular and molecular function. Its impact is powerful, as it assists in electrolyte balance, metabolism, and other biochemical reactions. Magnesium is an essential mineral for living well. Yet few people receive an adequate amount.

More than 70 percent of U.S. adults do not consume the Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) of magnesium. Nearly 20 percent get less than half of their magnesium RDA. Since the body does not produce the mineral on its own, people must acquire magnesium through diet and supplements, and it is clear they have failed to do so.

One way to im-prove your mag nes-

ium intake is the new AIM Mag-nificence™ line

of magnesium products—bath crystals and spray. The topical

application of magnesium is absorbed by the skin. This method of nutrient delivery dates back to Ancient Roman times and can be seen today in various forms like saunas, and skin creams.

The Mag-nificence products—bath crystals, spray, and AIM Cell Wellness Restorer™ bath additive—are a gentle way to raise your body’s essential mineral profile.

When your body has the minerals it needs, you can begin to experience the results of a system in balance. With proper amounts of magnesium, you may feel improved heart health, increased relaxation, lessened pain, and other benefits. A magnesium

deficiency, on the other hand, has been tied to over 100 ailments,

most notably osteoporosis, high blood pressure, cardio-

vascular disease, diabetes, and asthma.

“If you’re not using Mag-nificence™, you cannot be as healthy and alive as you can be.

These products individually and collectively are specifically designed, blended, and created with the intent to create the greatest wellness, the greatest sensation, and the greatest awareness of your natural, magnificent self and to discover that your beauty is not skin deep, your health

is not skin deep. Your magnificence should shine forth from the inside out.”

—Ron Murray, AIM Director

From Bonnie, registered massage therapist

I met AIM Director Ron Murray in 1997 and was introduced to the AIM products. Later, he let me experiment with the magnesium crystal bath salts. As a registered massage therapist, I knew how the chemical reaction could produce different results and could affect your body on a cellular level. Without magnesium, your body cannot absorb calcium. Since our biggest organ is our skin, what better way than salt baths or foot soaks to receive magnesium. To create a perfect cell you need the following components: calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, and other trace minerals. These are all in the magnesium salts.

In 2002, I met with Ron and his wife, and I did a bone density test. To my amazement, the graph showed I have 117 percent bone density. We did the test again just to rule out any errors, and the same numbers came up … not bad for a forty-two-year-old!

Now I am fifty-two years old, and I have been doing massage for eighteen years and still have a passion and the ability to carry on for another ten years before retiring. As a result of using the magnesium salts, I have the most amazing soft skin; I never use lotions or creams of any sort.

Now I promote the magnesium chloride crystals to all of my clients and they return for more as the benefits have proven themselves.

Magnesium— the most impor tant mineral to man

and all other living organisms.

—Dr. Jerry Aikawa, University of Colorado, Magnesium: Its Biologic Significance

AIM’s new Mag-nificence line of magnesium chloride products ensure that you stay on top of your magnesium needs.

Main Feature

When considering supplements—vitamins, minerals, or other nutritive products—one of the first questions you should ask is: Are they synthetic or natural?

Synthetic supplements supply chemically constructed nutrients cooked up in a laboratory that may be of little use to your body and possibly do more harm than good. Some studies of supplement use reveal negative results in test groups taking synthetics: • More deaths from lung cancer, stroke, and

ischemic heart disease in male smokers using synthetic beta-carotene and vitamin E

• Birth defects increased by 400 percent in pregnant women taking synthetic vitamin A

Your body is natural, so it responds well to natural ingredients. AIM’s high-quality, whole-food concentrates and herbal supplements are made for your body. Nature created their nutrients, which work synergistically to deliver your body’s required nutrition and health benefits.

Supplements are NecessaryBefore the age of convenience foods, nutrition

came from whole foods that provided natural proportions of necessary vitamins, minerals, enzymes, antioxidants, phytonutrients, etc. In today’s world, farmland is not as nutrient-rich as it was over a half century ago, so modern crops provide fewer of the required nutrients. Even eating healthily does not guarantee

that you are giving your body all that it needs. Supplementation is necessary for maintaining a strong, healthy body and slowing down the aging process.

AIM Offers the BestOver thirty years ago, The AIM Companies™

recognized the nutritional value of whole foods when it first introduced concentrated powders. Today, AIM’s natural garden of nutrition includes a harvest of concentrated whole-food powders and natural health products.

Concentrated Whole-Food NutritionYour body easily absorbs the natural nutrients

in AIM whole-food powders. Concentrated greens like AIM BarleyLife®, AIM BarleyLife® Xtra, and AIM LeafGreens™ nourish your cells with vitamins, minerals, enzymes, antioxidants, chlorophyll, and phytonutrients packaged and delivered by Mother Nature. The many health

benefits of juiced carrots and beets are a sip away with AIM Just Carrots® and AIM RediBeets®. The nutritious blend of mushrooms, tomato, and vegetables in AIM Veggie D™ powder offers a year-round, natural source of vitamin D. Derived from non-GMO peas, AIM ProPeas™ delivers healthy vegetable protein for building, maintaining, and replacing tissues in muscles, organs, and body systems. You can’t beat powders for delivering nutrients in balanced-by-nature proportions.

issues is a growing dependency all around the world. AIM offers natural choices for prevention, improvement, and maintenance with high-quality, natural health products, including AIM Kyolic® Aged Garlic Extract™ (CAN) or AIM Bear Paw Garlic® (US) for heart health, and seed oils in AIMega® providing omega-3 and -6 essential fatty acids for the structure, function, and maintenance of every cell in your body.

Necessary for good health and ideal body weight, fiber helps to keep your digestive system working optimally. AIM Herbal Fiberblend® and AIM FibreBalance® (CAN) contain natural sources of fiber and herbs for cleansing, detoxifying, and maintaining your digestive tract. AIM fit ’n fiber® (US) offers an additional source of fiber that is both complementary to Herbal Fiberblend and, like FibreBalance, a healthy product to help you lose weight.

Big-box stores and drugstore chains sell cheap, synthetic vitamins and supplements with few or poor health benefits. But remember, nature produced your body. You should not fuel it with anything processed, packaged, or synthesized in a laboratory. Natural or synthetic? It’s your choice. Make AIM yours.

My husband Bill started taking AIM products like BarleyLife because he developed esophageal cancer. The doctors had wanted to remove his esophagus, but we decided to try AIM’s natural products after we received information from Bella Vladimirsky (Royal Emerald Director). Yearly tests show that there is no sign of cancer, and Bill still has his esophagus. The doctors cannot believe his results, but they do not want to hear that he has been taking natural products.

AIM products have given both my husband and me more energy and stamina. We take the Garden Trio, Herbal Fiberblend, fit ’n fiber, and ProPeas twice a day. We feel the Herbal Fiberblend really helps us to detoxify many unpleasant things. Bill had been trying to lose weight for years, and AIM products helped him to lose forty-eight pounds. We have used many other products that we really like, including AIMega, Composure, and PrepZymes, which are among our favorites. Jesslyn McCormick, Preferred Member Mission, Texas

I mix one or more tablespoons of BarleyLife, one or more teaspoons of RediBeets, Just Carrots, BarleyLife Xtra, CalciAIM, LeafGreens, ProPeas, and fit ’n fiber with a hand blender in a glass of purified water. I have used BarleyLife almost daily since 1987. I turned 81 on November 11, and I take no prescription drugs. Many people comment on my good health. I tell them it is because I take AIM products daily and have a healthy diet. Thanks to the Lord for AIM providing the best products and the Healthy Cell Concept™. Convention / Contest

Circulation affects every organ in the body. Our health relies on the supply of oxygen- and nutrient-rich blood to flow fast and full to its many destinations. When blood flow slows down, so can we—physically, mentally, and otherwise.

Supporting the circulatory system through diet, exercise, and supplementation can help ensure an adequate supply of blood to all the many places it is needed. AIM GinkgoSense™, which features Ginkgo biloba extract, bilberry fruit extract, lutein and zeaxanthin, is an all-natural supplement that provides circulatory support. The ingredients in GinkgoSense’s unique formula work together synergistically to provide a boost to brain function, blood flow, and vision. Natural products, like GinkgoSense and the rest of AIM’s 30-plus product lineup, work on more than one specific area, which is why you may experience a range of benefits from AIM’s healthy nutritional supplements.

Ginkgo biloba is perhaps the most well-known of GinkgoSense’s ingredients. The ancient herb has been the subject of decades’ worth of research into its effects on neuro health and improved circulation. Among its benefits, ginkgo is credited with enhanced memory, improved cognitive function (even as it relates to those with Alzheimer’s), improved eyesight, and decreased circulatory conditions like claudication (leg pain).

The brain benefits of ginkgo come from the herb’s ability to increase blood flow. Compounds in the ginkgo leaf dilate blood vessels; ginkgo’s unique flavonoids help protect and repair blood vessels, particularly those in the brain; and ginkgo has been found to increase neural transmitter function. These benefits combine to make ginkgo the leading neuro health herb supplement on the market.

GinkgoSense also features bilberry fruit extract, lutein, and zeaxanthin—three remark-ably effective, all-natural ingredients for eye health. One of the main reasons behind bilberry’s eye health function is blood flow. The eyes rely on a large amount of oxygen-carrying blood, and bilberry improves blood flow in addition to working as an antioxidant. Because of this dual role, bilberry has benefits for cataracts, macular degeneration, and glaucoma. One study found that 97 percent of people with cataracts experienced no progression of the condition when on a bilberry supplement, compared to 77 percent of those in a placebo group. Lutein and zeaxanthin work alongside bilberry as free-radical fighters, helping prevent oxidative damage to the eyes.

To further improve circulation in the body, you might consider taking GinkgoSense plus AIM CellSparc 360®. Together, these two products work on macro and micro levels to cover all your bases—impacting veins, arteries, and capillaries.

Experience the many Benefits ofGinkgoSense™

I’m an active sixty-eight-year-old with a part-time job in a health food store. I started taking GinkgoSense for two reasons: to help my memory and to improve my circulation. GinkgoSense has helped to keep my memory sharp over the years. And it has improved my circulation, which my doctor says is phenomenal. GinkgoSense really helps, so some of my family started taking it as well. In only six

weeks, GinkgoSense relieved the hand stiffness that my son—a musician—had been feeling. I’m so grateful for AIM products.—Betty Anne Graham, AIM Director, Okotoks, Alberta

Testimony

Long after the devastation wrought by Hurricane Sandy had faded from national news, the need for aid remained—and AIM Group Builder Jessica Danchik, along with Crisis Response International (CRI), continued to meet that need.

Jessica and her family (husband Jordan and two-year-old son J.J.) have served with Crisis Response since 2011. Before arriving in the New York area to assist with Hurricane Sandy relief, the Danchiks previously responded to the Japan tsunami/earthquake, the flooding and typhoon in the Philippines, and Israel’s eight-day conflict.

“We have always desired to help people,” Jessica said. “After hearing CRI’s vision for disaster relief, we were hooked.  We knew that this is what our next step in life would be. We left our jobs and our lives in Orange County, California, and stepped out in faith, volunteering full time with this ministry.”

Crisis Response is currently serving in Lindenhurst, New York, a town on Long Island that was among one of the most affected areas during Hurricane Sandy. The Crisis Response team, which has been on the scene since day one, has helped to gut, restore, and rebuild homes and to provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support to those affected by the hurricane.

“Most organizations have left,” Jessica said, “but we have dug our heels in and plan to help these people get back on their feet.”

Part of Jessica’s job in Lindenhurst is to help oversee the kitchen. Since meals are acquired through donations,

there is seldom a consistent supply of healthy, fresh foods.

This lack of nutrition is a problem that Jessica hopes to solve through healthy AIM supplements. She and her family regularly take the Daily Essentials—AIM BarleyLife®, AIM Herbal Fiberblend®, and AIMega®—plus AIM Para 90®. These products have helped keep them healthy throughout their journeys, and Jessica is confident that AIM nutrition can positively impact her fellow CRI workers and the people they serve.

To help meet the nutrition need in Lindenhurst, AIM donated Sample Packs of BarleyLife, Herbal Fiberblend, and AIM Peak Endurance®.

“We have helped some of the victims of Hurricane Sandy become aware of the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle—that it not only affects you physically but mentally and emotionally, too,” Jessica said. “This has been such a great feeling to get people back on their feet physically, helping them through tragedy of loss, and also being able to guide them to living a healthy lifestyle.”

Finances are one of the most worrisome problems in North America. As many as

one million Americans file for bankruptcy each year; less than 10 percent of the population has a savings account. Unemployment, inflation, and income are topics of conversation you can strike up with just about anyone—they affect nearly every household.

Is it any wonder that tax season is such a stressful time of year?

Even if the topic of money doesn’t get you down, chances are you won’t have trouble finding other stressors in your life. These can range from traumatic, extraordinary events to normal, everyday situations and everything in between. Finding stress is never difficult. And dealing with stress doesn’t need to be, either.

AIM Composure® pro vides all-natural stress relief with an herbal formula that sends targeted help to your body’s nervous system. The herbal ingredients in the U.S. and Canadian versions of Composure vary, but the results are the same: reduced tension, better sleep, and more relaxation.

To understand how best to deal with stress, it may help to understand how stress works and how it affects the body. When stressful situations

mount, the body’s natural response to stressors is to go into survival mode. The body’s principal glands of stress — the adrenal glands, release hormones, cortisol and adrenaline, which prepare you for a flight or fight reaction and produce recognizable stress symptoms like a racing pulse, sweaty palms, and anxiety.

You can help reduce these anxious moments by limiting stress in your life, but know it is virtually impossible to get rid of it entirely.

When stress does inevitably arrive—be it tax season or any other time of year—be prepared with Composure’s blend of soothing herbs. You might not be able to live without stress, but Composure makes it possible to live with stress.

I think Composure is unique. I have never found a better mixture of herbs for anxiety and nerves. Those of us who struggle with fibromyalgia can be high-strung. When I take Composure, it calms my body and mind.

received, theirs had been accepted. The trustees had hoped to sell to another church group, but selling to a minister and his wife was “the next best thing” as they wanted the building to be respected for what it had stood for throughout its long history.  Darlene and Kees met with the committee, and the closing date was October 13, 2006. For the next three years, renovations took place on Saturdays, Mondays, and holiday time.

All of the materials used in the renovation were either bought at auction, at Habitat for Humanity ReStore, or on sale. Kees and Darlene did the bulk of the planning and renovations

Kees Vandermey is a Presbyterian Minister and, as such, he and his wife Darlene have lived in manses—homes owned by the church—in different locations during his ministry. Upon retirement, Darlene and Kees  knew that they would have to move and buy their own home.  Wouldn’t it be wonderful if their new home could be a church.

As it turned out, friends drew their attention to a church for sale in the village of Glen Allan, Ontario. Darlene suggested taking a drive out to look at the church, which was situated in a hilly area near the Conestoga River. One of their dreams was to retire near hills and water.

The original Presbyterian church had been built in 1887, replacing a wooden church destroyed in a fire. Sitting on three-quarters of an acre of land, the now United Church was being sold privately by bid due to low congregational numbers. In 1975, a fire had gutted the church, so it had to be completely rebuilt on the inside.  Instead of replacing the pews, chairs were used, and a drop ceiling had been put in; however, the ceiling was still high. There were three entrances—front, side, and back.

Darlene and Kees truly felt that God brought them to this point, so they put in an offer drawn up by a friend who was a real estate agent. They found out that he had been baptized in the very same church. On June 12, 2006, the day after the closing church service, Kees and Darlene received a call saying that out of the eight offers

Renovations consisted  of turning one very large sanctuary area into living space. They removed the carpeting and put masking tape on the floor to lay out the rooms, and building began. New windows and a new

front door were installed, plus a heat pump that augments the furnace, giving heat in the winter and air-conditioning in the summer.

The end result of what used to be the sanctuary level is a kitchen, dining room, and living room, which are all open concept.  The dining room is in the area where the pulpit once stood, and the original church cross remains a focal point. Also on the same floor is the master bedroom with en suite and a guest bedroom with a bathroom. The Vandermeys also built a laundry room and an exercise room that also serves as an office for Darlene’s AIM business.

In the basement, the original church kitchen has been turned into Kees’ workshop and indoor greenhouse. Storage areas have been built, and they have added another bedroom. The rest of the area is kept open for their many family and friend

get-togethers, as Darlene and Kees love to entertain.

Darlene and Kees really put the AIM products to the test during the busy time of renovations, of which most was done by them, plus Kees was a full-time minister and Darlene worked her AIM business. The Vandermeys were not disappointed as they seemed to have energy to burn. Previously Darlene had recovered from fibromyalgia as a result of taking AIM nutrition. They have been using AIM BarleyLife®, AIM CellSparc 360®, CalciAIM™, AIM Frame Essentials®, AIM FloraFood®, AIM Kyolic® Aged Garlic Extract™, AIM PrepZymes®, AIM Proancynol® 2000, and AIM ProPeas™ for many years already. This has blessed them with good health and stamina to finish their dream home.

With all the renovations complete, they officially moved to their place, “Dream Haven,” at the time of Kees’ retirement in September 2009. Kees and Darlene invited those who had been part of the church into their new home for a thanksgiving and rededication of the church, so the church members could see what had transpired. The Vandermeys hoped it would help the members put closure on a painful time in their lives ... and it did. It is never easy to close a church.

A public place of worship has been transformed into a home in which Kees and Darlene continue to glorify God in their daily lives as they share not only their home but also the AIM products with

all whom they meet.

Colon cleansing is a MUST

Death begins in the colon:

a warning ascribed to Dr. Bernard Jensen,

nicknamed the “father of colonics.”

His statement really struck a chord with

me. Looking around, I can see just how true

this is. We spend a fortune on looking good

on the outside but never give a thought

as to what we look like on the inside. Just

about everyone I see in my small practice is

encouraged to go onto the full AIM cleanse

program—AIM Herbal Fiberblend®, AIM Herbal Release®, AIM Para 90®, and AIM FloraFood®—before I even talk about

anything else. Even those with irritable

bowel syndrome do extremely well. People

will say, “You can go see Vivien, but she will

make you do a cleanse first before anything

else!” It’s true.

I do this whole cleanse at least once a

year and probably do a course of FloraFood

every three to four months.

What I like most of all with the Herbal

Fiberblend, Herbal Release, Para 90, and

FloraFood is the three months it takes to

complete the course. I believe that this

deep cleanse should not be hurried, in

order to cleanse completely, and the fact

that AIM’s program takes three full months

to complete means it actually trains your

colon to continue doing this for itself. I

always recommend following the program

with a sensible diet of lots of fresh fruits

and fresh vegetables, and correct food

combining. This way a person should not

only lose weight but become healthier, too.

It is no good going on a diet if your colon

is blocked and not working efficiently. I

have seen people lose nearly 40 pounds

following this program.

FloraFood is an excellent probiotic, and

people forget that this is probably one of

the most important additions to your daily

regime if you are not eating a healthy diet

or have been on antibiotics or any long-

term prescription medications. Probably

everyone over the age of forty-five should

consider a course in FloraFood now and

again just to keep everything running

smoothly in addition to the full cleanse

program regularly. In fact this whole three-

month cleanse should be done on an

annual basis—an internal spring clean that

will keep you in good shape all year round.

Did you know that, if your colon is

working as it should, it can cope with many

diseases, and you may find that you don’t

get so many colds, flu, allergies, and so on?

Your intestinal flora is there to protect you,

but it cannot do a good job if your colon is

clogged up. Make sure you are in a situation

where you have a good, clean, working internal system.

Editor’s note: Use AIM products as per the label recommendations and ensure you drink eight 8-ounce glasses of water per day.
