time and failure (if any), shall be immediately rectified
without delay,otherwise some alternate arrangement shall be made.
In the event of anyfailure of any pollution control system adopted
by the industry, the respectiveproduction unit shall not be
restarted until the control measures are rectifiedto achieve the
desired efficiency. Industry shall not discharge
anytreated/untreated effluent in to the river or any surface water
bodies. Noeffluent shall be discharged out side of the mine
premises in anycircumstances; hence zero discharge condition
outside the mine premisesshall be maintained at all the time.
3. Mine management shall submit monitoring report of effluent
regularly.Industry shall setup laboratory facility for collection
and analysis ofenvironmental samples under the supervision of
competent technicalpersonnel.
4. Mine management shall submit characterization report of all
the wastegenerated. As per characterization report, if any waste
comes under thepurview of Hazardous and Other Wastes (Management
and Trans BoundaryMovement) Rules, 2016. Industry shall obtain
letter of authorization underHazardous and Other Wastes (Maoagement
and Trans BoundaryMovement) Rules, 2016 from the Board.
5. Mine management shall adopt rainwater-harvesting technique in
premisesfor re-charge of ground water. Mine management shall obtain
necessarypermission from Central Ground water Authority for drawl
of under groundwater (if required).
6. All internal roads shall be black topped (pucca). Good house
keepingpractices shall be adopted by the Industry.
7. Mine management shall use fly ash brick, fly ash blocks or
fly ash basedproducts in their construction/repairing
activities.
8. Industry shall submit Environment Statement to the Board as
per provisionof Environment (Protection) amendment Rule, 1993 for
the previous yearending 31st March on or before so" September every
year.
9. Green belt of broad leaf local species shall be developed all
along theperiphery of the mine area. As far as possible maximum
area of openspaces-shall be utilized for plantatien purposes.
10. Mine management shall not increase production' more than
capacitymentioned in the consent letter & shall not initiate
any action regardingexpansion without obtaining prior consent of
the Board.
11. This renewal of consent is being issued under the "Scheme of
Auto-Renewal of Consent" of the Board issued vide office order no.
5734 dated24/02/2016 as per self certificate submitted by
authorized signatory Mr. S.K.Jain, CGM (Chemical) of M/s Century
Cement, p.a. - Baikunth, District -Raipur (C.G.).
12. Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board reserves the
rights to revokethe Consent at any time for any
viOlation/non-compliance.
13. In case, if the capital investment is increased by such
amount that the totalinvestment exceeds the range for which renewal
fees has been paid, the

industry shall have to pay the difference amount of renewal fees
for thecorresponding block years.
14. In case, the prescribed fee payable is amended in future,
the industry shallbe liable to pay the difference amount for
corresponding block years.

Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board may further
stipulatestringent particulate matter emission limit depending upon
environmentalconditions.
3. Regular monitoring for the measurement of air pollutants
level in ambient andemission of air pollutants from stack (if any)
shall be carried out. Industry shallsubmit stack and ambient air
quality monitoring reports to the Board regularly.Industry shall
setup laboratory facility for collection and analysis
ofenvironmental samples under the supervision of competent
technical personnel.
4. All internal roads shall be black topped (pucca). Good house
keeping practicesshall be adopted by the Industry.
5. Industry shall transport limestone in dully-covered vehicles
to avoid fugitive dustemission during transportation.
6. Industry shall use fly ash brick, fly ash blocks or fly ash
based products in theirconstruction/repairing activities.
7. Green belt of broad leaf local species shall be developed all
along the peripheryof the mine area. As far as possible maximum
area of open spaces shall beutilized for plantation purposes.
8. Industry shall submit Environment Statement to the Board as
