13TH BOOK FAIR 2012

The Library Information Services, CIIT Lahore campus has Organized

13th Grand two days BOOK Fair 2012 on 12 & 13, December 2012.

The worthy Director CIIT Lahore Dr. Mehmood Ahmed Bodla along with

Convener Library Affairs Committee Dr. Talat Afza, Library Incharge

Tariq Najmi along with faculty members, Staff and Students participated

in the inauguration ceremony of the Fair.

More than twenty renowned books sellers from all over the country

participated in this book fair and displayed their reading material on all

the subjects particular on Chemical Engineering, Architecture & Design,

Management Sciences, Computer Sciences, Computer Engineering,

Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Finance,

History, Islam and English Urdu Literature.

All faculty members and students participated and purchase books for

their personal use as well as recommend for the library collection

development.

NEW INTAKE

Mr.Shahid Qamer has joined the CIIT Library Information Services as library

Assistant on December 10, 2012. He did Master in Library and Information Science

from Sargodha University in 2011. To learn about the latest tools and techniques,

he did his internship in LUMS library for three months. His areas of interest are

technical processing of library material includes books, journal, magazine and

audio visual resources. We welcome him in CIIT Lahore family.
