Notes Algún and ningún are always used before a
masculine singular noun.
Example:
—¿Vas a visitar algún museo de arte durante tu viaje a Washington DC?
—No, no voy a visitar ningún museo de arte.
Notes Some/any (alguno/alguna, algunos/algunas) and none/not
any (ninguno/ ninguna and ningunos/ningunas) act like
adjectives.
They must agree with the number (singular or plural)
and gender (masculine or feminine) of the noun to
which they refer.
Example:
—¿Uds. van a la biblioteca en algunas clases?
—No, no vamos a la biblioteca en ninguna clase.
Notes
To make a sentence negative, you usually put no
in front of the verb.
No vamos a la playa.
When using a negative word, you almost always
use no in addition to the negative.
No estudiamos nunca el sábado por la noche.

Step One: On one side of your cards, write “Concentration” on all of the cards.
Step Two: Write one of your affirmatives or negatives on the other side of one of your cards. Repeat until you have copied all of the words.
Step Three: On the rest of the cards, write an English translation for each of the words – one on each card.

¡Jugamos! (1) Concentration
To play: ○ Flip all of the cards over so that
“Concentration” is facing up. ○ Flip over two at a time, trying to match
the English translation with the Spanish word. If they do not match, flip the cards back over. If they do match, remove the pair of cards from the playing area.
○ Take turns flipping the cards with your partner.
○ Whoever matches the most pairs wins.
