1. To continually ask for something, e.g. The child was  nagging his mother to buy him some  toys. He was saying “Pleeeease  Mummy, Pleeeease...”.2. Never giving someone rest; a continuing pain, e.g. Her broken arm was giving her a nagging pain; I  have a nagging pain in my tooth.
