Kenmore’s Ingredients Deli boasts a vast selection of imported, local and homemade products. With a variety of goods from Brisbane, such as dips from the Gap and herbs from moggill, as well as a number of imported goods, like Spanish Ham and homemade products that are made fresh every day, you can really lose yourself in a world of tasty delights when stepping into the store.

By Easter this year the Ingredients Deli will have over 2000 new products from Australia and around the world including Kosher and European goods.

Ingredients Deli offers a product mix unlike any other deli in Brisbane and every item will leave your taste buds wanting more. Ingredients also has products to suit everyone - Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Organic, Kosher, Low Salt, Soy, Goat or Sheep, yeast free and if they don’t have it – they’ll get it!

Plus Ingredients Deli is now proud to offer Di Bella Coffee, fresh from Crop to Cup. Drop in to taste the difference!

Don’t be overwhelmed by the massive range of exciting products, as every product in the store has been chosen based on personal experience and research and staff have been trained on all available goods – they’ll even be able to recommend something that will compliment or add to your recipe!

Kenmore’s Ingredients Deli demonstrates a high level of compliance with the Food Act 2006 and was awarded a 5 Star rating in excellent food safety management practices.

Kenmore Fresh has a wide variety of fresh products including a range of different fruit sizes, meaning that you will be able to find products to suit your every need. Only the freshest fruit & vegetables are selected each day at the markets and they are tasted before they are bought – you will not find fresher or tastier than you will @ Kenmore Fresh.

&Kenmore Fresh and Ingredients Deli are owned and operated by brother team Greg and Daniel Pennisi.

the Pennisi family heritage is ingrained in fresh food products, with their grandparents pioneering fruit farming in Stanthorpe. the family’s first fruit farm was in Ballandean in the early 1900’s and is now home to some of Australia’s most sort after wines in the Sirromet Vineyard.

Prior to opening Kenmore Fresh, the family owned stores through Brisbane in areas including Stones Corner, Paddington, West End & Stafford.

mouth watering food ideas from Australian leading chef and author Donna Hay.Caramel Pear Pie

3 pears, peeled, halved and cored2 tablespoons water1 quantity basic vanilla pastry1 eggwhite, lightly beaten, for brushing1/2 cup (90g) brown sugar1/2 cup (175g) golden syrup40g butter, melted3 eggs1/4 cup (60ml) single (pouring) cream

Preheat oven to 160OC (3200F). Place the pear and water in large, deep frying pan over medium heat. Cover and cook for 5-8 minutes or until pear is tender. Set aside to cool. Roll out the pastry to 3mm thick. Line the base of a lightly greased 28cm shallow metal pie tin and trim excess pastry. Gently press the edges with the back of a teaspoon and brush with eggwhite. Place on a baking tray.

Place sugar, golden syrup, butter, eggs and cream in a bowl and whip to combine. Arrange pear in the base of the pastry shell and pour over the caramel mixture. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until just set. Allow to cool in tin. Serves 6.
