At Magnet Harlequin, I worked mainly on Brakes account. My responsibilities included creating and maintaining brand guidelines as well as generating additional artwork. Above is a front of house artwork example which was deigned in-house at Magnet Harlequin.

I took part in designing the new chocolate mint flavour for Angel Delight. This was an interesting project which required to match client’s expectations while maintaining the original brand identity. Through this project I learnt many useful skills such as running GMG test proofs, and retouching images to printers’ specifications.

On the right is an example of New York Bakery Co. bag I artworked. I also got to work on brand guidelines for this design to maintain consistency across all types of packaging. I have enjoyed working on brand guidelines for various accounts at Magnet Harlequin, this requires extra great attention to detail and coming up with rules that work across different types of packaging.

I artworked the above BHS box example. This was a new design approved by BHS for 2015 Christmas range products. The photography was done in-house at Magnet Harlequin, I had to artwork this range ensuring all copy is correct and up to date with BHS artwork guidelines, as well as retouching images.

Above are some visuals I created for the client while working on the John Lewis account. For the above visuals I used a plugin for Adobe Illustrator which allows me to generate 3D PDF’s. This was something new I learnt, and this new way of presenting artwork does impress the clients.

Above is a before and after image retouch I worked on for M&S. The retouch involved warping the bra to match with the previous, and adding existing shadows and highlights from the original image. I got to learn a lot about image retouching process from this project, I have gained skills which I still use when tackling a similar project.

I have also worked on large format print for accounts such as Costa. This mainly included artworking to new format using existing design. Working on multiple different accounts at Magnet Harlequin taught me many different skills regarding setting up an artwork.

Working on the Heinz account was a good experience. I was able to work on preliminary design visuals provided to the client, above is an example of some labels. Along with label designs, I have also worked on banners for websites, POS visuals and other marketing visuals.

My first job required me to create and update brochures and catalogues selling different courses Euromoney Energy Training provides to their clients. I started with Quark and worked my way into Adobe InDesign and later Adobe Illustrator software which I used to create the above illustration. I have always been enthusiastic no matter what the job is, I am always trying to get the most out of the work I am doing.

Above are some examples of my personal work. I like to draw and paint in my free time, which enables me to learn other skills outside of my daily work, and stay creative. More examples of my recent work can be found at: www.cargocollective.com/jineshrevagar www.jineshrevagar.tumblr.com
