SERVE Weekend (formerly known as Youth & Mission Retreat) is a weekend of giving, loving, and serving the capitol city! A hands-on opportunity for the youth to participate in missions locally.

SERVE WEEKEND is February 28 & 29, 2020

We will “Kickoff” the weekend with a Friday night service at 6:30 p.m. at the Charleston Southeast Church. There will be exciting worship, a message from our District NYI Leader Mark Ice, along with assignments for Saturday. We will finish out the evening with a Pizza Party! On Saturday Morning at 9:00 a.m., we will gather at the Southeast Church to be commissioned as Missionaries to go out and serve in various locations throughout the Kanawha Valley. We will return to the Charleston Southeast Church at 11:45 a.m. to report about our projects and to celebrate! Lunch will be served after the service! The cost is $30 per person (this includes meals, t-shirts, insurance, supplies, etc.). Registration is due by Friday, February 14th. See Pastor Rob to register!

GRIEFSHARE—If you are grieving the loss of someone close to you, you can find comfort & support at our new GriefShare Seminar/Support Group beginning Sunday, February 2nd, in the Fellowship Hall. The program is 13 weeks and will meet on Sunday evenings. The only cost is for the workbook ($15). Sign

up at the Welcome Center if you are interested. If you have any questions, please see Debbie Fields.

FINANCIAL PEACE CLASS—We will be offering a Financial Peace University Class utilizing Dave Ramsey's materials beginning on February 4th, 2020 at 6:30 p.m., and will run for 9 weeks. LADIES NIGHT OUT—Meet with us at Plaza Maya in Kanawha City at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4th! Game Night will be held at a later date due to Hugh Murphy’s recovery from surgery. WEDNESDAY NIGHT DINNER—Join us from 5:15-6:15 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The Choir & Missions Council will be serving Homemade Chili and Baked Potato Bar, plus Dessert. Suggested donation is $6 per person, or $20 for a family of four or more.
