Raised with strong Midwest values, Jeff has been called “one of Florida’s leading marine industry advocates by Southern Boating Magazine and “one of the top yacht brokers in the USA.”

Hooked on boating at 7, Jeff has a treasure trove of boating experience & memories, two memorable boating adventures were a 35-day 30,000 mile circumnavigation and West Marine’s “Pacific Cup” non – stop sailboat race from San Francisco to Hawaii. Jeff married his passion for boating with business in 1987 by becoming a Florida Yacht Broker. An accomplished yacht broker with over 25 years of experience brings a wealth of experience to the table.

Jeff serves on the Florida Yacht Brokers Association (FYBA) board of directors as chair of the Public Affairs Committee, advocating for the marine industry. Accomplishments include: doubling the 90-day sales tax exemption to 180 days, Florida’s $18,000 sales use tax cap and protecting consumers by maintaining Florida’s Yacht & Ship Brokers Licensing.

A consummate advocate for buyers & sellers, Jeff loves helping clients achieve “two of the happiest days of a boaters life” and would love assisting you achieve yours.

Shortly thereafter, Kit’s son, Bob, took over the brokerage company, Denison Yacht Sales, and has expanded it every year since, to its present position, as one of the world’s largest International Brokerage and Charter operations.

For the last half of the 20th century, Broward Marine constructed more luxury yachts over 70-feet than any other manufacturer in the world. From 1983 to 1993, son, Kit built Denison Motor Yachts, noted for making the most 100-foot yachts over 30 knots. In 1993, Broward took over the Denison Marine shipyard in Dania, Florida, and in 1998, Frank sold Broward.

The Denison family has been a mainstay in the yachting industry for more than 60 years. In 1948, Frank Denison founded Broward Marine, which within 10 years, became the largest employer in Broward County, Florida, and soon after opened another shipyard in Saugatuck, Michigan.
