What is “It Gets Better” Project ?

It Gets Better is an:

- Internet-based project founded in the USA

- by Dan Savage and his husband Terry Miller on Sept 21, 2010,

- in response to the suicides of teenagers who were bullied

because they were gay or were suspected gay.

- these bullying cases led to suicide among LGBT youth

Many LGBT youth can't picture what their lives might be like as

openly gay adults. They can't imagine a future for themselves. So, It

Gets Better shows them what people lives are like, let's show them

what the future may hold in store for them.

How It Works?

Beginning with one inspiring video, Dan Savage used the web to

create the It Gets Better project--a movement that has generated

thousands of uplifting videos that give hope to teens.
