Students demonstrate creative thinking, construct knowledge, and develop innovative processes and products using technology

The Battle of Thermopylae Class is divided into four study

groups Each group does research Each group does a presentation

about a certain area of study

Assignments First Group -- Locate historical

texts to share factual information Second Group – Creates a virtual

display of location weaponry and other details

Third Group – Locates and creates links to poetry, books, etc., inspired by the Spartan soldiers

Fourth Group – Analyzes recent movies on the battle and explores the legacy of the battle.

Completion of Project

At the conclusion, students have a study guide that includes text, pictures, video clips, and Web resources, meeting ISTE standards 1,2,3,4,6.
