WAYS NOT TO COMMUNICATE

When under pressure, do not take your frustration out on people who are not involved.

Tone of voice can be either a huge motivator or an issue with others when trying to delegate tasks.

Your posture and gestures can make you seem either confident or like a nervous wreck.

WAYS TO COMMUNICATE

When tasks are not going as planned, keep it cool and try to help your team not just blame them.

Do not get in anyone’s personal space or talk down to them when delegating tasks.

Talk clearly and use gestures that will not offend anybody.

RELEVANCE LEADING TO SUCCESS

In the end, Bill was the most relevant leader on the show and he ended up being hired.

He was a team player the whole time… He trusted his team members to get their jobs

done, and provided help when they needed it.

He talked positive or negatively about people when it was actually deserved.

He went out on a limb with feasible ideas, that in the end paid off on most of the tasks.

WAYS THEY BUILT TEAMWORK

At first, the teams were assigned as men vs. women.

The contestants live together in a suite during the course of the show (unless eliminated).

Each team had to choose a team name.

The winning team was often rewarded as a group.

TEAMWORK CONTINUED…

Delegating tasks, motivating the team, and trusting in team members seemed to be successful.

When the teams were switched to co-ed, it helped some players avoid personal issues with members on their old team.

Recognize good qualities in the members of the team.

MISLEADING

PEOPLE Can lead to questionable decisions.

Unethical Usually when you need to lie to someone, you

would be breaking the rules of some sort. The women’s team used their bodies and sex to mislead people into coming into Planet Hollywood to buy shots.

Deceitful Kwame Jackson, the group leader in the

Apprentice decided to pretend he was a celebrity in order to attract more people to Planet Hollywood. In short, Kwame engaged in False advertising a form of misleading people that is illegal.
