● Camera Movement: the movement of

the camera (on the axis)

PAN● Moving a stationary camera on the X-

Axis

(Rotating the Camera Left and Right)

● Establishing a sense of location

● Add action, a tense scene

TILT● Moving camera on the Y-Axis

(Tilting the Camera Up and Down)

● Flashback

● Introducing a subject (feet to head)

TRUCKING● Moving the whole camera on the

X-Axis (Think of a truck moving

along the road)

● Following a movement side by side

● Scenery of outside from a moving

vehicle

PEDESTRAL● Moving the whole camera on the

Y-Axis (Like raising the tripod

head up and down instead of

tilting the camera)

● Looking out from a glass elevator

DOLLY● Moving the whole camera on the Z-Axis

(backward and forward)

● Make sure the camera is stable on a surface

with wheels for smooth look

ZOOM● Camera doesn’t move, only the

lens zooms in/out

at least 12 drawing panels or 2 pages

of storyboard template of your story

Storyboard sketches must contain

correctly labeled camera

shot/angle/movement drawings

You will be filming part of the
