    Why Choose Foundations and IBAnd What Does it look like?

    The Diploma Programme is a rigorous course of study designed to meet the needs of highly motivated students and to promote international understanding. To qualify for the IB Diploma students must take examinations in 6 subject areas and complete core requirements The core requirements: research and write an Extended Essay (EE), take a unique course known as Theory of Knowledge where students explore the nature of knowing across disciplines, and participation in the Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) Programme.

  • Foundations and IB Application Process:

    APPLICATIONS BECOME AVAILABLE NOVEMBER 12

    ● Complete the attached application package and submit to the main office 275 Farley Ave, Attention Mrs. Cockburn by: January 21 2019.

    ● Ms. Cockburn will contact you with a date and time for your interview via email. Please ensure your contact information is correct and legible on your application.

    ● Interviews take place in late January early February..

    Tips and Tricks:

    ● Remember, the interview is a great way for us to get to know you.● Prepare your portfolio in advance of your interview and review your personal

    essay before you come in for your interview.● The portfolio can be digital or hard copy. You are responsible for having all

    materials available to display your portfolio (including a computer if necessary.)

    Note: ALL students who are in the Foundations or IB pathway pay yearly IB fees. The fee is currently $200.00 per year and is due by September 30. It supports the experiential portion of the programming, specialized equipment, materials and IB requirements.
