Fuji Electric Co., Ltd. relo-cated the European sales and production headquar-ters for pressure transmit-ters to Clermont-Ferrand, France.

A French sales network is created and the first agency is opened in Paris.

M a n u f a c t u r i n g o f Measurement Cel ls commences, including the installation of a 10 ,000 c lass c lean room (ISO 7).

Fuji Electric France set up a quality assurance system to achieve external accredita-tion of our quality manage-ment system. It obtained ISO9000 certification and it’s committed to continuous improvement.

Fuji Electric France celebrated its 20th anniversary and opened its brand new pressure trans-mitter manufacturing plant in Cournon-d’Auvergne, France.

Quality - Environment

Pressure transmitter seals are manufactured in Fuji Electric

plants. To assemble a diaphragm with seals, we use the TIG weld-ing process, which guarantees long life and a reliable weld. Each weld is leak tested with a Helium Mass Spectrometer.

Our new plant located in Cournon-d’Auvergne is dedi-

cated to the machining and assem-bly of pressure transmitters. To meet individual customer requests we have at our disposal a full range of CNC lathes, EDN’s and a fully trace-able, state of the art metrology lab.

At the heart of our pressure transmitters is a measuring

cell that is assembled in a class 10,000 clean room. By controlling the cell manufacture and assembly in a highly calibrated environment, we can guarantee accurate, relia-ble pressure transmitters, whilst maintaining the flexibility to satisfy individual customer requirements.
