Main Ingredients

The Indians love to put spices in there food to make it so hot. 

The 2 main things in some Indians food is wheat and rice.

             Vegetable Samosa Ingredients1.1 potato finely diced (5-10 mill

cubes.)2.1 carrot finely diced . 3.2 cloves of crushed garlic.4.1 onion finely chopped.5.1 cup of frozen peas6.1 tablespoon of vegetable oil.7.2 tablespoons of curry powder.8. 100ml of vegetable stock.

1. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan.2. Add the onion and garlic3. Mix in the spices and fry until soft.4. Add the vegetables and seasoning

and stir until coated.5. Add the stock and cover and simmer

for 30 mins until cooked.

Tandoori Chicken Ingredients

1.1 tablespoon of cumin powder 2.1 tablespoon of Garam Massala 3.1 teaspoon of coriander powder 4.1 teaspoon of turmeric powder5.1 teaspoon chilli powder6.8 cloves of garlic - crushed7.4 pieces of skinless chicken on the

bone.

Tandoori Chicken Recipe

1.Mix the spices and garlic together2.Add a little bit of water and stir it

well to make a marinade.3.Put the chicken in the marinade for 2

- 60 hrs.4.Shake of the marinade and put the

chicken in the wire rack in the oven5.Cook for 20 mins and check if its

cooked by poking with a skewer.

Lentil Soup Ingredients

1.1/2 cup of red or brown lentils2.2 pints of chicken or vegetable stock3.1 onion4.2 tablespoons of olive oil5.1 clove of garlic6.1/4 pint of single cream7.salt and black pepper8.2 teaspoons of of crushed cumin seeds9.2 potatoes

Lentil Soup Recipe

1.Peel and finely chop the onion and soften it in the olive oil over a low heat.

2.Add the lentils and the peeled and chopped potatoes and the cumin seeds 

3. Cook for a few minutes but do not allow to brown4.Add the stock and bring to boil5.Cook gently for about 40 minutes 6.Remove from the heat and allow to cool7.Blend well and season8.Stir in the cream and return to a gentle heat.9.Do not allow to boil10.Serve hot sprinkled with finely chopped parsley.

Lassi Ingredients

1.3/4 cups of plain yogurt2.6 cubes of ice, crushed3.1/2 cups of ice water4.2 teaspoons white sugar5.1 pinch of salt If  you want to have it with fruit

1.In a blender , blend the yogurt, ice, water, sugar and salt (and fruit) until mixture becomes frothy and pour mixture in a tall glass with ice cubes inside.

Naan Bread Ingredients

1.4 cups White Flour 2.1/2 teaspoon of Baking powder 3.1 tsp Salt 4.1/2 cup Milk 5.1 tbsp Sugar 6.1 Egg 7,.4 tablespoons of Oil

Naan Bread recipe

1.Sift the flour, salt and baking powder into a bowl and make a well in the middle.

2. Mix the sugar, milk, eggs 2tbsp of oil in a bowl. 3.Pour this into the center of the flour and knead

adding water if necessary to form soft dough. 4.Add the remaining oil, knead again, then cover with

damp cloth and allow the dough to stand for 15 minutes. Knead the dough again and cover and leave for 2-3 hours.

5.About half an before the naan are required, turn on the oven to maximum heat.

6.Divide the dough into 8 balls and allow rest for 3-4 minutes.

7.Put it in the oven to heat while the dough is resting.
