A REALTOR® or a member of the public may file a complaint against a REALTOR®.

The Ethics Citation Program avoids the time consuming hearing process if the

respondent agrees with the Ethics Citation Program outcome, he/she can pay the

predetermined fine associated with the Article cited in the complaint and avoid a

hearing.

The Ethics Citation Program is limited to certain article violations. We will focus on violations of Article 12 as those are often

violated while using social media. The purpose of the Ethics Citation Program is to allow justice to be served and protect the

real estate industry from unethical conduct.
