PROPOSAL My name is Tan Chin Werng, a Foundation in Natural & Build Environment student from Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus. My group partner is Tee Wan Nee, we have to search for a pot to develop it into a building which is more beneficial to the community. Through our intense search, we had found an empty space with size of 50m × 70m (3500 m²) in Persiaran Bukit Raja, Klang.

I propose to build a hypermarket at this site. So I will build a triple stories hypermarket that consist grocery department, electronic department, home accessory department and so on.

Some coffee shops and restaurants will be found at the ground floor in order to let people chill and relax after shopping.

BENEFITS

There are just shop lots in these commercial areas,

If build a shopping mall/ hypermarket at this site, then people can easily search and purchase their daily needs in this building.

There are shop lots beside this hypermarket, this area will bustle with noise and excitement.

Convenient with nearby people as there are many nearby residential areas.

This hypermarket will then act as the landmark for people to identify this area.

RATIONALE

According to this area plan, clearly shows a large of residential area.Based on my observation, the commercial blocks are quite a lot, but there are just shop lots. A hypermarket is convenient for the residents there to buy their daily needs within a short distance.

IMPACTS

After the hypermarket had built, this area will become the focus area of Persiaran

The site is an empty space which is located in Persiaran Bukit Raja, Bandar Baru Klang, Selangor. The size of the site is 50m X 70m site which is in total 3500 m² site.

My proposal is mostly inspired by Tesco, which is a single brand building that has various sales

department and also some restaurants or coffee shop inside the building.
