INTRODUCTION

In our subject Introduction to Construction Industry, we were given an assignment that require us select a site in Taylor’s University that create a certain purpose of it. Our site is located in block A, ground floor on the left side of Taylor’s University entrance.

We are going to create a recreational area consisting an elevated garden that will attract students to rest there and have a breath of fresh air from the hustle of college.

Page 5: Ici final 2

PURPOSE

The purpose of this project is for Taylor’s Lakeside University students for them to have a better place to rest. We would like to also bring the students closer to nature.

This area is also to create fresh air for the students from all the carbon dioxide air coming from all the car at the main entrance of the campus.

This project will also make the school compound more greener because of its green implantation to the site.

Page 6: Ici final 2

CONCEPT

We choose that area because Taylor’s Lakeside University is not putting use to that area. It’s a wasted area. The site size is 10m x 7m. The reason why we chose this site is because this site was not really appreciated and also not put to use

The concept of this project is to give the students a rest/ waiting area. We are going to provide an area for the students to wait for their parents at a more comfortable way and also more convenient for them.

The materials we are going to use are wooden planks, beams, columns and etc.

This new concept for this project will increase the population in that area and it will increase the usage in that area.
