A wolf in sheep's clothing is stealing trillions from the poor andmiddle class, but is called a hero. Meanwhile a drug dealerproves to be brilliant at developing hydroponic. You can't avoidlistening to the wolf and you never hear the drug dealer. Readmy posting and understand hydroponics better. It is time foryou to act. Hydroponic is great for more than marijuana.

Hydroponics has been taken over by large corporate "farms withoutsoil" as more easily centrally controlled and much more profitable atthe expense of lost nutrients when the right minerals could be so veryeasily provided with Dow gone.

A simple definition of hydroponics iscultivating plants with water andnutrients but no soil. Water has to betransported to the root system of theplant. This system can hang in thesolution of the nutrient, get misted withit or may be fenced in a trough orcontainer that is packed with substrate(a soil substitute). There may be a lotof different kinds of materials in thesubstrate like sand, perlite, woodchips, sawdust, Rockwood or pebbles.Substrate should offer adequate

capacity to hold water and still be absorbent for the exchange of gas.The roots of the plant grow in the substrate to make the plant securedwithin trough or container.

Allen Dunn has heard of and tried numerous things in his lifetime and hecould not pass up the opportunity to try out the hydroponics way ofgardening. He found that it was ideal for the types of plants he wants togrow and also that not only is it simple and easy to do, it saved him a lot ofmoney in the long run. His extensive research brought him usefulinformation regarding how you can do your own hydroponics gardening, the different mediums that are used, the correct temperature for this typeof gardening, and even the types of insects that can harm or help thegardening process.

Dunn also want to share with readers what he found out about lighting andother essential equipment for hydroponics gardening. He has documentedhis knowledge and experience in how to control the harmful pests as wellas the nutrient that is very vital in this type of growing system. Allen Dunnhas shared the information in this book in such a manner that persons whoare considering this or those who are hearing about it for the first time willfind out how simple and ideal it is to choose the hydroponics method ofgardening.

  • Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)This review is from: Hydroponics : A Complete DIY Guide For GardeningUsing Simple Steps Hydroponics Builders Guide For Beginners AndIntermediate Gardeners (Kindle Edition)I got the free sample of this Book for my Kindle. After reading just the first chapter Irealized that THIS book is 10 times better then the first Kindle Book I bought onHydroponics. I then bought the Dunn sample and like that system. For that first KindleBook I paid $90. It was very, very far over my head and of no immediate use to me. I dointend to engage in hydroponic home gardening, and this book I can use. I could neveruse any of the fancy $90 book. I'll keep the expensive one though for research. I'll studythis Book by Dunn as I make decisions on systems and equipment.

I'm adding this part after several days of reading and planning my own hydroponicsystem.

Dunn's Book is now the center piece of my study and planning for my hydroponicgardening. I was going to buy a paper version of this Book to give my "non-Kindlegardener" and found out to my surprise that this Book is ONLY available in the Kindleedition.

Kindles are now cheap enough I might well just buy another Kindle to give my gardenerso HE can read the same stuff I am reading.

    It's great

  • Here is MY ideal scene as far as ME starting a hydroponicsproject:

My family and me too, have always yearned for and love farmlife even though I grew up in cities and rural areas that werenot farms.

When I moved into my present retirement home I didresearch on "Karl Loren's Home Garden," andspent many hours and much money to create"our" own tiny farm -- a few square feet ofoutside growing area where we plantedtomatoes and put up a composter.

  • It was lots of work and some fun and we even got some cherrytomatoes from the "garden."

But when it was all over, we had few tomatoes and they varieda lot in size and taste.

Now I'm ready to improve on that experience with a"hydroponics garden" and have asked my good friend Dr.Wayne Mathis to help me design what will fit FOR us, here inCanyon Country, California.

My career has changed many times. Each time I was 100% sureI had found my final niche in life.

    Now I'm changing again.

My new future is to "finish cycles I havestarted (like video and hydroponics) and finish

these cycles to a comfortable termination.]

Several techniques exist for delivering water to where the plant root is.Each plant that is grown in a container is provided with a water emitterthat is from an irrigation drip system. Nutrient film method system isone way that water can be transported through the row of plants in atrough. Another way is to water from beneath by filling up the wholetray with water, then draining, the excess water. This is referred to asebb and flow irrigation. Generally water is recycled through this systemas well as within the nutrient film technique. Recycling for the systemsinvolving drip irrigation is harder and necessitates added equipmentlike equipment for adjusting and monitoring fertilizer and also a watersterilizer.

The hydroponic methods are further grouped as open (nutrient solutionis not reusable after being delivered to the root of plants) andclosed (excess solution can be recovered, refilled and alsorecycled). Combined with greenhouses, this system is capital-intensiveand high technology.

In addition, it is highly productive, conserves land and water, and alsoprotects environment. However, for majority of employees, thehydroponic culture calls for basic skill in agriculture only. As managing

  • the root and aerial environment has become a great concern inagricultural systems such as these, production occurs withinenclosures that are designed to regulate root temperatures, air, water, light, averse climate and plant nutrition.

The best part of a hydroponics systems is the control you can have over all the elements that affectyour crop. Controlled environment agriculture is best achieved within the greenhouse environment;however, scientists at NASA have created self-growing habitats that accomplish this control. Somehave experimented with closed underground growing environments using the methods of controlledenvironment agricultural systems or hydroponics systems. The Controlled Environment Agricultureexperiment began in the state of New York, at Cornell University. Winters were hard in many regions, and Louis Albright, the academic behind the project.

They wanted to find a solution for farmers who were otherwise reeling under winter losses. They alsohad to contend with the limited growing time they had during winters. Controlled environmentagriculture or hydroponics gardening meant increased production and an indifference to ambienttemperature and seasons.

Hydroponics systems offer us the same benefits you do not have to grow on land and deal with soilconditions, production invariably increases, water and hydroponics nutrients are better utilized andtemperature and climate are non-variable factors. The land area used is also less and yourhydroponics systems can be engineered towards automation. Soil-borne disease and pest control arealso less taxing issues because hydroponics plants are not grown directly in soil.

Your hydroponics systems should be well-located. While choosing a spot for your hydroponics systems, you have to think about factors like the availability of power, water supply and natural light. If youare using an indoor grow room, you dont need sunlight at all. You can equip your room withhydroponic grow lights instead. You can use computer-run programs to control the working of yourhydroponics systems.

The programs could be advanced enough to take care of nutrient delivery, and controlling operations for humidity, temperature and light. For hydroponic crops that cannot self-pollinate, a vibratorpollinating hydroponics systems can be used. You can again use a computer program to regulate theintensity and duration of vibrations, to ensure that the behaviour of the program regulating yourhydroponics systems is close to natural crop behaviour. • There are several kinds of hydroponic or controlled environmentsystem. Every component of CEA (controlled environmentalagriculture) is equally relevant, whether it is environmental control, growing system or structural design. It is very often that importance isplaced on one of maybe two important components only, and thesystem becomes unsuccessful because of the deficient attention thatis given to other components.

[Karl Loren Note: My wife, Jean Ross, has been concerned that her "job" does notproduce value. Today a friend told Jean Ross about a "home business" which she isstarting. Jean's friend has two "customers" coming to her home today, Sunday,September 3, 2012. As I suggested to Jean, she too can start the same type ofbusiness in our home. We both agreed that when she does that the "work" will be farmore satisfying than the "old work."

Let me be more plain. This is a "service" not a "product. It is a "service" that can onlybe delivered by a trained human, no machine will ever take over. It is a "service"which virtually anyhuman person canbenefit from andonce started willwant more. It alsohappens to be aservice usually

delivered free or at very low cost (in hourlyincome to that human provider.) It is also truethat some providers can prove to be SOskilled, SO proficient that they get "results in10 minutes which others less experienced, might take 10 hours to deliver. There are

They areparts of larger organizations which spendmillions of dollars to promote the service. They are expanding, but population isexpanding, perhaps a bit faster and whateverpopulation we have today becomes less andless likely to view this service well or to betoo drugged to seek it or qualify for it.

I live in California, USA. I consider "my community" to be world wide virtually. If you live in my "local Californiacommunity," I might offer a free sample of this service. Find a way, probably through Google Plus, to contact me.]
