As a student in SNU’s Human Relations program, you will develop skills that prove to be an asset to your career. Through rigorous courses, caring professors and unique opportunities, you will leave SNU with more than just a piece of paper. By the end of your journey at SNU, you will be able to demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills, effective written communication skills, foundational understanding in psychology and sociology, and conceptual knowledge of core courses in the major. Our professors are not only qualified to teach, they hold high accomplishments within their professional fields. You will study with Ron Wright, Alan Young, and Pam Broyles who is an accomplished professional author and editor of books, textbooks, academic articles and curriculum. Professor Pam Broyles holds membership and leadership roles in the National Communication Association and Oklahoma Speech Theatre Communication Association.
You will take classes from Dr. Alan Young who has 18 years of teaching experience and holds graduate degrees in three disciplines.

Konstance Wamble is an SNU Human Relations graduate who is currently working as a graduate research assistant in Bizzell Memorial Library at the University of Oklahoma. She is attending graduate school studying Library and Information Studies.
“I got to where I am today due to encouraging family and friends. Attending SNU was one of the best decisions I ever made,” says Wamble who was given the President’s Award as well as being a McNair Scholar. “I got the opportunity to be a part of a wonderful community, learned how to establish a professional attitude and developed problem solving and critical thinking skills.”
Wamble plans to continue her graduate studies at the University of Oklahoma to earn her Master’s degree.
