As a leader, it is yourresponsibility to rectify whatever situation occurred andcontinue to implement best methods and practices toensure fluid workflow among the team. By gettingangry and yelling, it makes your employees feeluncomfortable and unapproachable which productivefor the team's future.

This tool is a little difficult for many leaders ormanagers, as subordinate employees are easy toblame because of their lack of power in theworkplace. While this something that happensacross companies around the world, it is importantto note that as a team leader, whatever goes wrongis technically on your shoulders. Although it may notbe the best part of being a manager, takingresponsibility is a vital aspect in terms of setting agood leadership example.

Kindness is a great way to allow the employer to reach tolevel of a well-functioning leader and the employee to feelappreciated in the work they are fulfilling. According to aU.K. study, companionship and recognition are moreimportant than even high salaries in promoting employeeloyalty, which in turn, can be seen in increasedproductivity across the board. Socially engaging with thesubordinate employee or taking interest in a hobby arejust a few ways to go about doing this step.

Perks Perks Perks

While this aspect of any job can be seen as an addedbonus to working at a company, perks can actually holdvalue for both employees and employers. By providingsimple perks such as yoga in the office, discounted gympasses or fresh produce in the kitchen, it motivatesemployees’ physical/mental state, while highlighting thefact that the company cares about their health.
