3000 BC

• Abacus: The abacus was the first calculator. It was invented in Babylonia.

• The Abacus helped people make “computations” by moving the beads around.

• Pingala is one of the bases of computers. It is a system that created binary numbers. Binary numbers are a code. The number 0 and 1 are two of the numbers used for the code.
