FOND FAREWELL TO PETER After a dedicated 18 years service to Higgins Construction we say farewell to Peter Crane as he hangs up his safety boots this month. After being interviewed by Benny King in 1994, Peter started as a Site Manager and throughout his career has progressed to a Senior Projects Manager. This position has been one that Peter has enjoyed as he always wanted to be based on site and deliver projects. One project in particular stands out in his mind - The Quadrant - with the biggest concrete frame, what an achievement! He has been a great influence in training many other members of staff, who have now further developed their careers. “I would like to thank all of the Managers who have supported me throughout my career - you know who you are! and I am now looking forward to spending loads of time with my family and playing golf!” We would like to wish Peter all the very best for the future. VACANCY Job title: Secretary - Contracting Department: Construction Contact: Elaine Ward ? “At the staff presentations it was announced that we would be making some structural changes to the company going forward with an emphasis on team structures rather than departments. Sean Robinson and Ian Ramsden, who will be joining us in February, will lead two delivery teams alongside teams led by Gordon Riddock and Murray Maunder. As with all changes this will require some adjustments with individuals moving to their new team environment rather than remaining in their existing locations. This will occur once their current projects have been successfully completed. These changes have been discussed with those who will be directly affected by the office moves, however, should you have any queries as to how this new structure is going to operate then I would ask that you raise them with your Line Manager.” Steve Leakey, Managing Director Higgins Construction Higgins Construction Getting in shape for 2013 Higgins Homes Offer a solution to buying the house of your dreams hassle free!
