LEKKIE HD 40T BLING RING SET INSTALLATION GUIDE The HD 40T Bling Ring offers multiple offsets using a revesable MultiSpacer. For an inward 2.5mm offset, use no spacer. For the standard offset, key the spacer into the Bling Ring. For an outward 2.5mm offset, reverse the spacer. Standard Bling Ring offset 2.5mm inward offset 2.5mm outward offset V1.0 MOTOR MODIFICATION FOR INWARD OFFSET MULTISPACER OFFSETS Step 1 Remove stock cover and install Lekkie Drive Cover. Note this requires removing and installing bearings and drive gears. Step 2 Using a scriber trace the edge of Lekkie Drive Cover onto the motor body that covers the pinion gear. Step 3 Remove the Lekkie Drive Cover assembly. Step 4 Using a file or chisel very carefully remove material so that the Lekkie Drive Cover and motor match up. Make sure to clean all metal filings of the gears. Step 5 Re-install Lekkie Drive Cover. Now the motor body and Drive Cover should match. Step 6 Install the Bling Ring and check there is no interference. To run the 40T Bling Ring with maximum inward offset you MUST remove material from your HD motor. For the standard and outward offset you do not need to modify your motor. You will need to reinstall bearings and drive gears so if you are unfamiliar or uncomfortable with pulling apart your motor or installing bearings see your local engineering or bike shop. REMOVE
