With the score tied, 2-2, Kyle Holder was hit by a pitch to lead off the bottom of the eighth inning against rehabbing Nationals right-hander Austen Williams (0-1). Holder stole second base and then scored the go- ahead run for the Thunder (25-26, 63-54) on a Rashad Crawford double to left-center. Brandon Wagner added an RBI-single two at-bats later, and Angel Aguilar topped off the rally with another run-scoring single for a 5-2 Thunder lead. Aguilar had delivered a game-tying RBI-single off Williams the previous inning, scoring Kellin Deglan, who had doubled and taken third on a Matt Lipka sacrifice bunt.
