• plan OLE opportunities with a reasonable level of diversity to cater for different individual needs;

• take cautious measures not to deprive students from disadvantaged backgrounds from taking part in OLE activities; and

• cost-benefits and affordability should be considered when planning OLE activities. Expensive activities are not necessarily more effective than those that cost less.

Part I: Community Service ProjectPart I: Community Service Project• Secondary schools are invited to form student teams to conceive and develop

proposals for community service projects.

• Schools can apply on their own or jointly with another school.

• The projects will run through the 2009/10 school year (October 2009 to May 2010).

• Upon completion, participating schools are required to submit a detailed report of their projects. Their work will be evaluated by a panel of judges for creativity, entrepreneurship, effectiveness, reach, and teamwork. The judges will comprise of representatives from the CLT Organizers. Selected projects will be granted a ‘Distinguished Community Service Commendation’ by the judges.

• Helps schools evaluate their probable effectiveness in accordance with the overall OLE aims and objectives.

Part II: Leadership SeminarPart II: Leadership Seminar

• Harvard Business School Association of Hong Kong (HBSAHK).

• HBS alumni and other prominent leaders will share experience.

• Students will have a HBS style case study workshop.
