    Off-lately, the wine policy announced by the BJPGovt. in Karnataka has made drinking wine astyle statement.

    The decision to promote wine in the circuit of

    men and women, both young and elderly hasgiven a new identity to the State.

    As of now, consumption of grape wine hasbecome the icing on the cake in all theme

    parties. Permission given to consumers to retain upto 9 litres (Some of the main features of the Policy announced in 2008 )

Restaurants such as Toscano inUB City, Forum Value Mall in Whitefield, andDaddys Deli in Indiranagar 12th Main havegot wine tavern licences. Casa Piccolarestaurant is said to be in the process ofapplying for a licence.

    Methodology: Through conversations with a varietyof groups of students, Corporates & expatriates wefound that their foremost priority was hygiene,wide range and good quality. With a generalcomparison made with pubs and bars they showed astrong inclination towards having variety inProducts.
