60th class reunionThe CCHS class of 1957 met on April 29 at the Heflin Arts Center to celebrate 60 years. There were fifty classmates and spouses in attendance. The graduation class has continued a special bond through all the years. Many milestones and many trips were offered such as Alaskan Cruise, train travel to
New Orleans, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee and local luncheons and camp-outs. Many of there were organized by the late Carolyn Sanders.Seven states were represented. A time of fellowship followed by a short program recognizing classmates who preceded in death.Benny Abney had the invocation and blessing. The meal was catered by Howard Hanvey and was barbecue with all the timings. A cake with a tiger head was
the dessert. The class enjoyed a wonderful evening with many beautiful memories.
