La Couture Corps et Ame

The exibition at Lyon spans 10 rooms and inclu-des more than 180 one-of-a-king creations from Sorbier, who is celebatrin’ his 10-year anniversary of the opening of his fashion house.

Sorbier decided to group his crea-tions into color-themed rooms. For example, the gradations star-ting with black and finishing in white.

Every section of the exibition had

a title put by the de-signer.

The clothing is mostly displayed on simple man-nequins behind glass cases.

The collection has an air of time-lessness.

There is a senti-ment that anything can become part

of an haute couture design.

Sorbier has come to see the world of fashion as a place where nothing should be wasted and everything can be beautiful.

The exibit finis-hes with two-hour montage of Sorbier’s fas-hion shows dis-played across the black wall of the staircase leading out of the show.

Jordan McCoy is an American singer, gitarist and aloso an American Juniors finalist.She began singin at age three. By the time she waseleven years old, she con-viced her mom to take her to American Juniors competition auditions, whe-re Jordan went finalist. However she wasn’t selected to the final five contes-tants. After the sho0w she went to Los Angeles to start developing her music career and auditioned for TV and movie roles. Wow!
