AdSense vs AdWords

• Google AdWords is for business owners mainly to create advertisements to appear on search, publishers and partner networks. Advertisers using Google AdWords pay Google to increase traffic and conversions on their sites.

• Google AdSense on the other hand is a monetization tool and is free for content providers and publishers that have already generated significant traffic and want to monetize that traffic.

• DoubleClick is an ad server and ad-network similar to AdSense
