Reflection

After our first failed attempt at traveling to the Gold Coast (we originally chose Monday at 7:00 pm), our group really enjoyed ourselves. On our second trip, we began by visiting Navy Pier. It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon, and we visited the Navy Pier Children’s Museum and Crystal Gardens. After navigating through Navy Pier, our group took a walk through the park nearby. The park led to a lakefront path that allowed great views of the Gold Coast. After about a mile, our group walked under lake shore drive (with lots of spiders!). We then walked through several neighborhoods until we reached the John Hancock. After so much walking, we all needed a refreshment and headed to Jamba Juice. Ironically, it was the last day Jamba Juice was open! They were closing for good the next day. To finish off our trip, our group walked to Loyola’s Water Tower Campus and ate at Lu’s. It was delicious (they served the sandwiches in buckets). Overall, it was an excellent trip!
